Andrew Gower didn't leave.

I've been looking at that thread of how the new CEO will bring good things to Runescape and that he took Andrew Gower's place. What you all fail to realize is that Andrew Gower did not leave nor was his place taken. Andrew Gower is Jagex's game lead developer. This new CEO is actually taking Geoff Iddison's place, who resigned last month.

There won't be any good changes.

So please, stop saying "Yes, Gower is finally out!" or something along the lines. He isn't. Just wanted to clarify.

 

Mhm. There has only been three CEO'S. The guy we just had was actually the guy who fucked with all of us.

 

I don't play RS, but after reading a bit, it should bring RS Some good features.

 

I think any change will be for good, His intentions seem good, if they don't end up being misleading.

 

i still think that things will get better. a new CEO will still bring change to the way that runescape is run however it could go bad...

I dont think things could get any worse, there isn't much more they can take away (except for the new filter)

 

i'm glad they replaced the old one hope there ill be some more udates now cause the last few we're really lousy.

 

But guess what? This new guy has the descision in all of the final matters. If Gower wanted to remove pvp, bh, and godwars, he couldn't because the new CEO wouldn't let him. Maybe the other one was just a pushover who let Gower do whatever he wanted? And by the way, you can't say "There wont be any good changes" if you don't know yet, right?

Just wait it out. Hopefully something will happen.

Are you even aware of who Andrew Gower is? He probably has slightly higher authority then this new CEO or they may be the same but definitely nothing worse. So don't expect this new CEO to just get his way with everything. Who knows, he might turn out worse.
