Finally, a complaint about power-abuse.

Hello, I've got a little complaint to make, now that I can actually FINALLY make one. I've waited an entire month for being banned UNJUSTLY by pshynosis. You are a horrible moderator, I'll explain in a moment. Here's my story:

I was on the general section, I made a thread about creating my own forum via vbull, and talked about methods of creating a website, and what kind of forums would interest people, at first I was thinking about creating a forum specifically for metal or whatever, no problem. A person (who I will not name) gave me a link to a website specifically for vBulletin, in that forum was a warez section [You had to register to actually view the fucking section]. Another person asked for the same link in my thread, I gave it away, once I did that 2 people thanked me for it. Then Pshynosis, the 14 year old neo-nazi wannabe permanently bans me (Now, please be reminded, the forum link that I posted was NOT a WAREZ site, it contained a LITTLE SECTION FOR WAREZ).

After that, I posted in the filed a dispute in the appealing a ban section (and realised that you cannot post with your account name, and that for some reason I could only post without registering, no problem) I explained my case, and Pshyno replied casually telling me that I deserve it for posting warez (I DIDN'T FUCKING POST FUCKING WAREZ, AND YOU DON'T GET TO FUCKING BAN ME FOR POSTING A LINK THAT "HELPED" PEOPLE IN THE THREAD MENTIONED). Anyway, for some reason, I wasn't even allowed to REPLY to that thread, it wasn't even locked. No problem, he decreased my ban to one month. I waited for an ENTIRE MONTH just to post this. I will try my best to have as little flaming as possible but here is what's happening to sythe right now, this is pretty much the current sythe.org in a nutshell:

-- Scammers get permanently banned, but they are allowed to make new accounts right after that, so all their losing is their vouches and post count, they get to have a new start, and scam multiple times over and over. BUT, people who talk about something COMPLETELY offtopic to runescape, and HELP other sythe members get banned permanently? What the fucking shit? What is up with promoting xenophobic pre-teen kids who think that "SAYING FUHRER ONLINE MAKES ME THE KING OF THE INTERNET". It doesn't, it makes you look like a moron. People like Pshynosis are probably bullied but minorities in his school, and comes and abuses his E-privileges by banning people like insane.

If sythe.org keeps this steadily increasing flow of morons who can't tell a banana from a pig, it will become the central gathering of 12-year-olds who want to make a quick buck online by scamming other 12 year olds.

Seriously, keeping sythe at this rate is like flogging a dead horse. The least thing you can do is talk it over with that kid, you're not "cool" or "hip" by putting a swastika in your signature. How the fuck are you even a mod? What the flipping shit, seriously?

It would be a complete cowardice banning me again without at least allowing me to reply to my own thread here. I'm sure other people agree with me when I say that sythe.org is bending the rules. This moderator can ban me for helping a couple of kids out with vBull info, AND he can run around with a sawastika flag.

Keep it up sythe, ban the active & nice members, keep the spammers and scammers. I am beyond frustrated with Sythe's current system. Honestly, if any mods are reading this, can you see how that kid is making you all look like? Sit back and think, was this place always a quick buck for a scammer? Or was it once a "community"?

Note: for the morons who only want to post to increase their post count, I fucking beg you, go to another section and flame other people.

I've got so much other things to say, but for the moment, I'm out of words. I'll edit later.

 

Finally someone is standing up and saying something. I just now finally decided to join Sythe, and perhaps I should have long ago, and maybe not. I've been browsing this site and using some of the services off of here for about two years and have been scammed 3 times before I ever signed up. One was by a guy named Bigfoot, another by a user named Macroman, and finally, yes, the "Pen". People will do anything if they can get away with it -- that's the moral of the story.

This is how it is in all hierarchies. You go on IRC, what happens? Some twit bans you or kicks you for absolutely nothing often times. Same on forums, sites, in-game, everything.

What's to do about it? As I've learned in the past, simply complain until something is done. They will get tired of it sooner or later. Some of the older mods and admins, and by older I mean real life age-wise, not 2 years of mod/adminship between the ages of 13 and 15, should get together and decide who needs to be here and who doesn't. And it's apparent some of these guys shouldn't be here. Their lack of ability to properly moderate or administrate this website and the happenings that go on within it merely promote more bad behavior by scammers, hackers, liars, thieves, etc.

It's time something needs to be done.

 

I bet that atleast 75% of the Sythe community is below the age of 14. I know how you feel, trust me. Funny how they don't bother reading this. Nobody will take action against that dick head, infact, they'd probably ban me for "flaming" and he'll stay there. This community is one of the worst online communities I've ever seen.

1) realise that you may not understand half the things people on this forum mean, and may signify, such as his swastika. If he finds it politically just, then why should he not show his political views?

2) look at yourself... i'm not saying anything bad, i'm saying you're overreacting, because of being banned from an online forum. If you read the rules, Mods have the right to ban you for any reason they see just.

You posted a site, that contains warez. You are posting them, therefor you got punished for it. If i post porn, shall i get away with it because im "helping" people?

I agree with some of your first post, but what i just made bigger, thats absolute bullshit, If you approach a topic correctly, no you don't always get flamed. You have to watch what you say, but this community is probably one of the most open minded communities i've seen, apart from the immiture scammers.

Pshynosis is, in my oppinion, a very very rude moderator, who needs to portray a different type of persona to the new members of sythe. What I see him doing is disrespecting other mods and members for the hell of it, knowingly. He needs to stop posting this mess of flame and so on.

You, (the maker of this thread) are being a little blatent. You need to tone it down, and use constructive criticism, instead of screaming fuck you to the free world.

Overall could have been a good thread if you hadn't have blown up and acted like an immiture moron yourself.

There was a little warez section in the forum mentioned, the only way you could view that section is if you registered. By psyhnosis' logic, posting www.fagex.com should get you banned from here.

Only if you tell them to go there to get something. So, by you posting the webiste saying "this is where you get free warez" you are advertising, which is in call for a perm ban.

I'm not 100 percent sure this was power abuse but quite a few mods expect you to brown nose in order to avoid trouble with them.

 

Yea, I slightly agree with the mod... Just do not post anything relating at all to warez and you will be fine... Just do not even talk about it... Just need to follow the rules... I do not know why so many people find it so hard...
