Runescape High-Stakes Betting [GP/Accounts/Misc.]

Hello and welcome to my High-Stakes betting thread!

Now, you're probably asking yourself: Just what is this? Well, simply put, it's the old duel arena. Here, you can place bets against people you think you can beat. Both players put in a certain amount of money into the pot, winner take all!

How it works:
-Player A decides he can beat player B in a fight.
-Player B also decides he can beat player A in a fight.
-Both players post here agreeing to rules/stake.
-Both players deliver money/details to MM
-Both players fight, while MM is watching.
-Winner takes all!



Different types of staking.

There are many different types of staking. They are listed below:

-GP
-Account
-Paypal

Green means recommended.
Red means not recommended.
Yellow means neutral.

Green = Sure payment if you win.
Red = High risk. User may recover account, etc.
Yellow = neutral, 50/50 chance of keeping/loosing money afterwards


How it works


GP.

Both players decide on said amount of money to be staked. Both players then transfer the money to an MM which holds it throughout the fight. Once the fight is over, MM transfers the money over to the winner.

Accounts.

Both players decide on which accounts they're going to bet. [Possibly the ones they're going to use to fight]. Both players then deliver all account information to the MM. The MM changes both passwords, and players commence fighting. The winner gets the other player's account information. Note: there is always a chance that the other player will recover their account down the road. Do this at risk!

Paypal.

Both players decide on amount. Both players then send the MM the money via paypal, making sure to claim and cancel. Both players then fight, while MM is present. Afterwords, the MM sends the money to the winner.


Rules.

The rules are what the players want them to be. If they want it to be an all-out fight, then they simply choose no rules. If they want say no magic, simply tick it off.


Formalities.

-Make sure to always take a picture of the winning message.
-Make sure to always double-check the rules.
-Make sure to not fight unless MM is present. If he's not, the fight is not valid!
-Make sure all three parties involved post here. [Players + MM]

yea i saw that guys post and i thought it was a great idea. i might do this with gp definately not an account though lol

 

Personally I'd stay away from accounts completely.

By the way, if anybody is interested on taking me on for the first round, I have two accounts I can do this on.

I can help by being an MM during trades.I cant do anything with RSGP but i am trusted and can hold onto the stuff while they are fighting

It's either myself or an official, unless the players decide otherwise. It's really up to them.

Great idea i must say and i don't find myself saying that much in a place like this.i'll stake on my level 56 unsure if i want to do on my level 134 just yet as its poor.

 

I'm well up for this, I'd do Paypal as it's easier
