People who hate Americans

I as an American find it offending too, but it's just the common stereotype. Just like we look at Middle Eastern Muslim nations as explosive experts, and Asian people as really smart and video game freaks, Southern Americans working their farms, etc. I do have to agree though that Americans are mostly disrespected. I find this to happen because everyone hates the Superpower nation. People always hate the best, but there are actually good reasons to hate Americans. Such as bossing other nations around by having American troops stationed in many nations, when it's unnecessary. That though is the governments fault, not American citizens. It's a stereotype though, and unfortunately it goes to everyone when it's a stereotype. I used to hate all Muslim people, until I realized it's only the extremists who kill other people, not EVERY Muslim. People just need to quit being ignorant and realize that it's not everyone, it may be the majority, but not everyone.

 

Welcome to the generalization of every country. If you can name a conformist country in which everyone is a great citizen and doesn't make mistakes, then please let me know.

How can you claim the majority of Americans are idiots, last time I checked America was in the top 10 richest countries in the world and money making requires some skill/intelligence. We have a GPD- per capita of 43,500K.

The media always blows subjects out of proportion, it's their job. Nothing is bad, it's just the media attempting to layout the facts.

Us Americans didn't all elect Bush, remember that half the people voted for Gore. He really didn't fuck up the world, he just attempted to do what was necessary to protect the common wealth. It relates back to the theory of protecting and aggression before action is taken by the opposing side. We never blamed it on anyone, if so please let me know who. We are doing everything in our power to fix whatever problems came about, hence the election of Obama. You should also remember that the world relies on the US's economy largely, due to resources and trading. Without the "stupid" Americans' overall economic success, you would be in a greater hole than you're in now.

Wow, to the person saying most Americans are idiots or w/e, that insults me! Every country has a mixture of different kinds of people, America is not full of idiots. Well there are a few things I hate about america which I guess I will try my best to explain and im sure some annoying person is gonna probably come up with some bullshit about what i've said.

1) You think you run the world, Yes you have alot of military power but lets face it every chance america has poked into other countries business it's become a complete shambles.

2) General religion, America is mostly christian faith which is fine but when someone who is different religion they get treated like scum and I know this happens in every country but with America I believe it is the worst.

3) Ignorance to issues that your country has caused/helped, Ok now America has made things around the world bad in alot of different ways but will not even attempt at fixing those issues from what I have seen/heard.

 

I'm independent. I believe in liberty, and the far left, and the far right want to take some of my rights away.

Privacy for the far right, and my right to own a firearm for the far left.

Why then, do they keep trying, and trying to disable my right as a common law abiding citizen, to not own a firearm?

Why then, do demorats want to minimize the military?

Why then, do most democratic judges tend to not want death sentences for murderers?

Why then, do democrats want to infringe on my rights to be a capitalist, isn't that was this country was based on, and why the colonization of North America even started for?- Profit and personal gain?

Have you read the Bill of Rights?
It states, that it is my right to own a firearm, and that right shall not be infringed. By taking them away, that is an infringement on the Constitution.

And for the rest- good thing I'm Libertarian.

 

Just because you have a right doesn't mean you need one. Needing a firearm is impractical, there's nothing legal (minus hunting, in California there's not much to hunt) to do with them.

Right = wrong
Privilege = right

Why? Just because some guy back in the days of muskets said people should have them, at the time it was a part of life that was necessary, these days you don't need a gun to walk down the street. If you do, fucking MOVE. Privilege is the better way, you have a privilege to own a gun, no problems.
