Bring back frequent IRC user?

Who cares about hours. Even if I don't get counted as active (even though I'm in all day..) Shawn, Darren, Verts, Shin and some other people should choose it.That way no one goes running crazy and if they do beg, either of you can /kill.

 

Exaclty, this would prevent "omg my time is 5000 hours and dat nub is like 1000." Have the opers/ops server admins decide, and if they decide you deserve it/are in IRC, contribute to conversations, and aren't like a major problem I see no reason this shouldn't be reinstated.

 

Its been suggested and denied so many times, I don't think it would pass. Even if it did, the same old people with three ranks already would get it.

B. I see no problem with oldies getting their rank back. Most are still active-Verts, Shawn, Resident....

 

I think it should be given to people who actually know how to use IRC, and help out when they can. When the rank was around I really didn't see a whole bunch of people getting it just the ones that were loved by staff.

 

Well... That's not what I was thinking, because not everyone knows IRC commands. You, are 1337 at working with IRC, but other people are there/active/contribute to conversations, and help newbies out.

Internet relay chat. Basically our IRC is a Sythe chatroom. There's a fuckton of guides on how to set it up and everything. You should come join us in #sythe.

Edit- And since the IRC is no longer a part of sythe, feel free to lock/archive this thread, negating the posts. Honestly, it makes no difference to me. I am just very upset that Sythe decided to take it away.
