Anybody with any common sense should ask this:

How are we supposed to tell you the best choice when you provided so many details for the Desktop but 1 short described detail for the Laptop.

Honestly if it were me, a laptop with a wireless USB mouse.

if you arent going anywhere in the next year...get a desktop. i honestly don't see the point in people under the age of 18 getting a laptop. your not going to college yet im assuming, and your not on your own already judging by your sig. get a desktop, but follow these simple guidelines:

if you like to play hardware intense games such as far cry 2, cod 4/5, crysis, basically anything realeased after mid 2008, than get a computer with an nvidea 9800GT or above, or with an ati 4830 and above.

if you dont game intensely, and rather use your computer for strict internet browsing and casual gaming than get something with a dual core processor 2.8ghz and above, or a quad core processor. 2gb of ram or above is ideal for computers this day, so look for that too. hard drive space depends on what you do on your comp. hopefully i dont need to explain this as well.

If you're going to college, get a laptop. Otherwise, get a desktop.
