Runescape not working for me..

Well for some reason my java isnt working right. Ive tried reinstalling it but its not working and its starting to piss me off.. The screen just stays blank. Any help?

 

your pc/firewall is blocking rs.

 

Yeah some firewalls block java, if you want to let rs access the net (which you do) go to Start>Control Panel>Windows Firewall>Exceptions>Add Port. Type Runescape as name and it's port number is 43594 I believe if you are using another firewall (Norton etc) try to do the same.

Turn Firewall off (you can put Runescape on the exception's list too) or open the Java Console and try all the buttons.

 

another tip if blocking firewall wont work ...

allow java in ur broswer...

 

problem was solved thanks for all the help. turned out because i was downloading music it slowed down my computer and there for slowed down java.
