Bring back frequent IRC user?

Again, Agreed. If people see that there is an IRC-I seem to notice alot of active sythe members are active in vent + IRC, and they all post with their Frequent user title, it will encourage growth in both Vent, and IRC. Though people might just join and whore it out for 7-9 months for a rank, most of the people will actually enjoy it, and have a good time.

I see no downsides to this.

It should be brought back, along with a Ventrilo rank.

 

Loads of people would just idle for it though. It should only be given to people who are frequently active when they are on the IRC, and not someone who stays on for 3 days straight saying nothing.

 

Err, 3 days isn't "Frequent" And I think members of the IRC users should vote the people in, and have an admin put the rank on to prevent idlers.

If by reserve you mean only me and you have it I like the idea, but I think we should add a few more people (Verts, Shin, etc..)

What I mean is that regardless of how active you are on the IRC, staying on while you're sleeping/away shouldn't go towards this. That's what people do to get their counters up.

 

I only leave mIRC running for logging purposes.

 

That wasn't aimed at you, and I know that you have a lot to do on the IRC. I'm talking about people who are purely staying on for the timer.

If the frequent IRC user rank was brought back, I don't want the people purposely doing this getting it.

 

It wouldn't be based on your mIRC timer anyway.
