I'm getting back into combat bracelets. I got 500 at 18525. Will be buying more tomorrow at the new minimum price. Don't expect too large a profit.

Also for new items. Chech out black flowers and loop half keys. Both are taking huge drops, abut the black flowers only dropped about 340 compared to normal 400+.

Hey Merchant In the Dark- I recommend to update the Exchange Watch more frequently and you will then should receive more donations, etc. As i just checked, the shark and mage book and elite armor have stayed on for the whole week. I think it would be more helpful for frequent change, but its for others, not for me, as i don't use it and i invest in my own items...

ExchangeWatch :: Making Grand Exchange Investing Easy

    I'm updating the ExchangeWatch now.

It's very hard for me to manage the ExchangeWatch along with working on Rune-Tips.net and my IRL responsibilities - I was hoping that my ExchangeWatch staff would be more prolific with offering item tips and helping me update.

As it is, I will probably be seeking several new ExchangeWatch staff members as I get closer to releasing Rune-Tips.net.

well lets see, we have 2 managers, both post here and are offered great item suggestions, but none of them update the Watch, at the end it is always you that ends up updating it......yup i think we need more managers.

ExchangeWatch :: Making Grand Exchange Investing Easy

I've been collecting Combat bracelets since yesterday. I have 950 of them now. I was gonna spill the beans on them right now but it seems someone else already did.

If you need more exchange watch managers hit me via AIM or pm. Or in game, but to find me in game PM me. I have two other items, one of which I'll be posting here, that are worth of my style of merchanting. I've also gone from 3-5M to my new total of 40.5m wealth, using most of what I learned from you. Thanks man.

    Recap on my preferrered merchanting:
A clan manipulates an item causing it to skyrocket. That pattern is almost always apparent looking at graphs. If you don't understand just look for items that have skyrocketed for no reason. Look at Dharok Platelegs 30-day graph, it's a great example of what it looks like when a merchanting clan is doing some manipulation. Well after the clan decides to dump the item, it always falls just as fast as it went up. There is a large chance that this item will "bounce" after it falls. That bounce usually starts are one day of slowed decline. That day it's kinda impossible to stock up on minimum, and you're forced to buy from medium to maximum price. The next update after the slowed decline will be an increase in price. That initial increase is 50% of the time a spike up, and 50% of the time a slight slope increase. Either way you can sell out at maximum. However. If it is a slight slope increase you have a 90% chance the item will increase for 3-4 more days. If it's a spiked increase. I'd say it's more like 80% that it goes up for 3-4 days. If it's a spike increase sell at maximum the very next day to be safe. If spiked up then sell 2-3 days later at maximum. Do not wait until the rise increase begins to slow. Because on that day it will be near impossible to sell at max.

Don't take my strategy as a set in stone guideline. It's just how I like to do things, as it's easy to find items that fit this description.

There are many exceptions to this rule but I haven't lost any money on it. Things like the amount of waiting days I post are usually never less than that, occasionally more. But the reason I sell so early is maximize profit in case it hold onto it too long.

If any of this seems a bit incoherant it's because I just took about 40mg oxycodone and railed another 40mg like 10 mins ago. Somewhere during writing this I started getting really really really f'd up.

EDIT: Besides from the Combat bracelets. It seems that the items being shown are always either just bottoming out or starting to rise. It usually makes it impossible to stock up on minimum because of that. In VIP will we get a greater heads up on the items to start stocking on? Thats what I'm mainly hoping for.

Oh wow, just shows up inebriated I've been lately. I didn't even remember telling everyone else I was getting those.

Anyways I think you can still get them at the new minimum 17205. I just bought 100 more. If you can use the hero's guild to recharge them (i'm lvl 3 I can'), then I suggest buying more of those and charging them. It'll just make them charged.
