Ghost? PolterGiest? Spirits?

Hey. So my mom is like having this medium person come over tonight. its a person who cost tons of money and they supposedly Talk to you and tell you things that your past relatives/friends/etc say and stuff like that. I don't Know if i actually believe in that stuff. Is it really possible for something to die and just wander around? if so, why haven't people completely proven the fact of them. What do you think?

 

I think it is completely ridiculous and somewhat amusing that people still believe in things like that. I mean, it's a few hundred years past the dark ages.

 

I especially love the "Ghost Hunts" people host to make money on the ignorance of those who chose to believe in it.

No, it's a ridiculous medieval superstition. Notice how the only people who claims to see ghosts/spirits/poltergeists are deep-seated-believers, and never a naturally, skeptic person? That's because people misinterprete simple phenomena; a branch knocks on your window due to wind and you'll instantly presume there's a ghost outside wanting to eat your babies. It's always something similar like this - refer to Occam's Razor.

It's retarded, and you really oughta inform your mother that she is currently being scammed by a pathetic low-life whom preys on people's ignorance and fear of things they do not understand.
