Runescape in 10 years?

Apparently there keeping both.

I think there will be no runescape in 10 years

you'll have star-of-david shields, which basically PWN everything, and they'll add a Torah god-book that pwns all of the other god books

I think that it'll survive another 10 years.

They'll:
- Do lots of awesome updates.
- Release a useless skill
- Then fuck everybody over, and lose lots of members.(E.G. bounty hunter, trade limit, ect)
- Repeat.

 

As long as people keep paying for members runescape wont end. Theres too much money being made from this game.

No, i don't think so in 10 years. I think they will create a new game, etc. I just don't see it being around for 10 years. Oh yeah, IcyDude, rofl, torah, and star of david shields I would love that too(so funny), ROFL

 

One of the Jagex spokesmen said that Runescape would be supported for at least five more years, so there is part of your question. And as for ten years I think it will still be around, even if hardly anyone plays it, lots of these mmo's stay around long after they have passed their prime.

 

i think there gonna update RS and they wont end it, they r just looking for money thats why they made this game.

and mechscape is totally diff i think its about robots and new future of human life

everyone will probably have common sense in 10 years and will play World of Warcraft because its just so much better..

 

rune scape will exist, maybe killed by another company who buys it IF it does not exist.

PHASE 1: Start game, create RS Classic, start RS 2. The term "noob" is made.
People start to get a few "gfs", which is a term used to describe weird fat grown men plying runescape making a girl account to get money, etc.
PHASE 2: Little kids ages 8-15+ getting addicted. Rl GP for money begins. Lives are being metaphorically destroyed by RS. New language is created called "Leet".
PHASE 3: Take out pking. Hell raises over. People kill in rl to replace pking.
PHASE 4: Put in BH, begin trading restrictions/limits. People quit.
PHASE 5: Stupid updates/minigames to attrasct ex-RSers. Addiction slightly.
PHASE 6: PVP update. The addiction is reborn. RS economy is in shambles along with the US economy.
PHASE 7: RS starts getting kids ages 5-20+ addicted.
PHASE 8: RS literally and physically drains the life force/soul out of all who play.
PHASE 9: RS starts to become largest game in the world. RS 3 is created.
PHASE 10: RS replaces Myspace & Facebook. Now known as MyScape. (It should have been obvious it was bound to come... scape has same letters as space.)
PHASE 11: People start to say "lol" and "lmao" in rl. 60% percent of the world's population plays RS.
PHASE 12: The US declares playing RS as patriotic, soon adding it mandatory to the constitution, with people going in jail if caught botting, scamming, loitering in Varrock/Falador, smoking ashes/bucket of sand, & saying "I hate Jagex/RS/US.
PHASE 13: Jagex takes over England and Iraq, naming them both Canifis & Al-Kharid.
PHASE 14: RS is now mandatory in all countries except for China, India, Brazil, & Antarctica.
PHASE 15: Jagex takes over Poland. World War 3 begins.
PHASE 16: Pedro Sanchez, the pres. of the United States of America in 2080, attacks Canifis(England) and Iraq(Al-Kharid). Unsuccesful. Pedro launches a full scale PK war against Jagex.
PHASE 17: Jagex takes over world, except for China. Not high enough agility to get passed oceans/Great Wall of China.
PHASE 18: Stats are now applied in rl. When babies are born, they start off with 10HP 1 str, 1 attk, etc.
PHASE 19: RS servers crash. People are so addicted to the game, that currency becomes GP, and people cannot leave their seats. Everyone is tube fed.
PHASE 20: Jagex brings a full clan to PK in China. China is now known as "Runescape Classic". The last Party Hat in RS is being displayed in a computer in the international museum of Runescape history.
PHASE 21: Servers fail. Civil Earth War breaks out. People kill half of Jagex.
PHASE 22: Servers rebooted, Jagex takes over the moon, now called "Lunar Isle".
PHASE 23: RS-hate groups destroy all high lvls in game. Soon they plant a bomb in servers. Servers explode, along with RS HQ.
PHASE 24: People are shocked. Slowly start to regain lives. Jagex makes Mechscape.

 

They will most likely have sick graphics.
The worlds will most likely grow.
There will be so many mini games and much nicer weapons
