My first and simple guide!Make 200k/hr!

Do you like Smelting?






-Anyways, what we are investing in are Steel bars. I will be guiding you step by step so make sure you do what everything says!

• 
  In the example below, I will be Smelting 1k Steel bars, so I will need 1k Iron Ores.

And..

• 
  Since it takes 2 Coal and 1 Iron ore to make a Steel bar, I will be buying 2k Coal. Remember, always buy your Ores for the least amount you can, in order to make the most profit!

• 
  Now go to Al-Kharid and smelt your Steel bars. If you don't know where Al Kharid is, refer to the map below:
  
  
  
  
  

-Now that you smelted all of your bars, go back to the Grand Exchange and sell your Steel bars.



-Again, sell bars at the highest price possible or Steel bars will suffer a huge deflation!


High level investing:
Requirements:90+ Smithing
Amount of profit earned per bar: 1k-2k


Runite Ores and bars

-Rune bars must be bought at market price or lower

• 
  Since it takes 8 coal per bar and you are smelting 100 bars, 800 coal is needed.

Now Smelt those bars away...

And the result is...


Profit!

Material:
Iron Ore=90gp

-Coal(2)=170gp~184gp,350gp~370gp

-Steel bar=601gp~665gp

Amount of profit earned per bar:100gp~225gp

Not very long, and 200K isn't very good money, even for F2P. Not much more could be added to it, though. 7/10

 

It is 226k per 1000 bars according to those numbers. You would have to make 885 bars in an hour to make 200k. You can make 9 bars per trip, so that would be 98 trips. That would be 1.6 trips/minute, or a trip every 36.7 seconds.

Good guide, but it is nowhere near 200k/hour. I liked the pics

This isnt near 200k as previously said but its like a starter guide for those F2P noobs that dont know much I guess.

take the word investing out... ever since merchant in the dark's investment guide everyone thinks that anything that makes money is investing stop it

 

yea thats not a bad guide i did this when i was a noob and need money+smithing 7/10 cause u wasted your time and couldve made a guide on somthing better

 

To be completely honest, this guide isn't bad, I've used this method.

 

Been posted a couple of times in here already. Guide isn't the first. Most people knows about this already. And there are better way to profit from smithing if you are a p2p

 

but the cash u get is still good 200k. if ur f2p its good coz u will have easy 200k

I always thought from the time of the trade limit update to this day you LOST money doing steel bars.

I now know that is a myth, so I will now continue doing this.
