Why is abortion wrong? What gives a fetus rights?

 

tbh i think it is wrong,nothing should be harmed.

I'm for abortion. My reasons;

1 - Women/girls choice as it is IN their body.

2 - Less surplus population to take care of

3 - Not all life is precious to begin with

I am entirely for abortion. Pro-choice. As Shredderbeam said the fetus is not consciously aware of anything at the stages of its life when abortion would take place.

 

Suicide is illegal because the government loses money on taxes. The government cares less about the future generation, because is it FUTURE taxes, but suicide makes them lose current taxes.

 

It's not really a "human" life, as in a life that can feel pain experience joy, relate to others, etc., so why is it wrong to end it?

 

I think most people think it's wrong because of religion. If not that it's because they think everything deserves life. Shame cause not everything does deserve life.

 

Every human being deserves life, and this is a living human being.

To your point, what qualifies someone as deserving of life? And, why do you deserve life?

 

Personally, I'm against it. But while I'm anti-abortion, I'm also pro-choice. I don't think that my beliefs should dictate what other people do with their lives. It's between them and god, IMO.

 

No one deserves to live, even I. I don't deserve to live but I do. We just live. And no it's not living. A living being is conscious, a fetus is not.

 

I don't like how there's only two options in the poll: Right and Wrong. Things are never black and white. There are gray areas. What if it's a baby of rape? What if its mother has AIDS and not getting an abortion means that the baby will die of AIDS as well? Or worse, Leukemia?

I'm not *PRO* abortion, but I'm certainly not against it in the right cases. Over all, though, I think it should be the decision of the mother. If the adoption center isn't willing to take it, why force somebody to have a baby they won't love? The baby deserves better.

 

Being conscious does not make something living. Life starts at conception.

ahaha i think that even though people think its wrong but some times theres accidents. condoms are only 98.7% affective so even people who use them all the time could have an accident and wind up in a bad situation

every fetus has te potential to life and hving a abortion is denying the right of some one to live,

I think its wrong, you've already created a life and you shouldnt destroy it. The only reason you should have an abortion is if the baby is going to have some kind of disease that will make its life miserable.
