MTA Profit Calculator - Morphis

Well I made this calculator yesterday to help me visually see what items are best to buy with the pizazz points earned in the MTA.

Program Features

- Gathers prices directly from the Grand Exchange so it is up to date!

- Shows cost of item, cost of runes, profit, and profit per hour for comparison!

- Very easy to use, only one button to click.

- Very fast, only takes about 10 seconds to update it and it will display prices!

- Supports 11 items at the moment, I might add in all of the runes and what not later.

All of my calculations are based on current prices of runes, and calculations made by Robotzindisguise himself. I am going to be testing amount of runes needed etc by myself soon because some of the figures seem way off, such as the battlestaffs and some others. But overall this is pretty accurate.

First off, I spent quite a while making this program work and I would really hate to not keep this program updated if the prices of the items will take a sharp plunge. Remember sell for highest! The best items are the best for a reason, because they sell good, so don't sabotage everyones efforts by selling your items for lowest, the best item so far, infinity boots, sells just fine for medium and I am sure it could sell highest if you left it there.


This program was made by me with the help of Nullware for pointing me in the right direction with one of the functions, and a BIG THANKS TO Weebs who gave me the function to grab the prices from the G.E. The calculations in the bot interface are a rough guide to the runes you should bring along, airing on the side of bringing more than you need rather than running out, which I only spent a short time on, so some of those figures are a definitely a bit off.

It would be interesting to see an exact study into the runes taken to get x amount of points though. A lot of people would find that useful. Thanks

 

Great to see this, it looks very useful and well-made. I'm currently working on similar programs for high-alching and other common activities, although they will be web-based.

thanks for the feedback guys, and ya I am planning on taking runes and getting the averages for x amount of points. That should give me a good estimate. The items are a bit off in price. But thats as close as I could get right now. I also think I need to make it more organized, its readable right now but it sure is not pretty.

The battlestaffs thing looked off so I checked the bot calculator and I think you've made a mistake. For battlestaffs (1 tele, 2 alch, 2 grave and 20 enchant points) the bot says:

Primary Runes: 9 Cosmic, 8 Nature, 2 Law.
Secondary Runes: 215 Fire, 3 Water, 183 Earth, 2 Air.
Recommended Staff(s): Lava, Mud, Air.

about 4k

You will in practice need more than 2 laws to do a maze but the bot calculation takes into account the bonus laws given every 5 mazes. You can cut the amounts of runes by doing free alch over 30gp items, and dragonstone mode in enchant.
But yeah the battlestaff calculation is off, probably because you've put the wrong points totals in. The others look in tune with the bot calculator to me.

 

If what your saying is true, as far as the points needed, then yes I am off in my calculations. But I took them off of sals realm website. Because I was too lazy to log into rs and double check. Ill fix it in my next release, and I will also make it a lot neater and in a table.
