this budget pc good?

How is this pc ? its currently 699€ will it run games smoothly or is it to slow?

or any advise ? i am from Netherlands so no sites from USA or something

 

Sounds pretty good for the money. Although a SSD would be a massive upgrade. And another 8gb of ram would do you well. And perhaps a gtx 1660ti opposed to 1650. Depends what games you want to play.

 

I'm no PC guru, but just built my first one with the help and advice of my brother.
I would think you could run most games at 60+fps on low to medium settings just fine.


What are you looking to play?

 

I assume this is a prebuilt pc?

A few issues I have with this build:

- Ryzen 3600 + b450 is a far better cpu+motherboard combo. More expensive, but worth the upgrade IMO if you're building it yourself.

- Unless this is a prebuilt PC with a long warranty I would avoid cheap power supplies. Get something bronze rated or better. This is the golden rule of higher end PC building.

- HDD/SSDs are cheap nowadays. Any build would massively benefit from a 250gb/500gb SSD to put your OS + whatever games you're playing on. This is HUGE for gaming performance. HDD could also be bigger for very little cost (as low as €20-30 for another 1tb).

- 1650 4gb is fine if you're only running things in 1080p 60fps. If not, look for better. 1660 is a very good value upgrade if you want it.

- Get 16gb of ram. Modern games are already using 8-10gb, so either buy it now or wish you did later. You might also be able to find faster ram for a fairly small price increase.

Overall its not bad, I just feel like money was cut in the wrong places to get the price that low. €100 more put into the build would make a massive difference.

I'll be honest bro, you are spending way too much for a GPU like that and a CPU like that. Try going for AMD instead.

You need a SSD brother

 

I would say at the minimum 1TB for SSD, if you are paying that kind of money. Wouldn't you agree Slice?

 

SSD (solid state drive) is the way to go brother. After looking, this setup would be great with a M.2 <1TB> solid state. Definitely look into it! If you have any questions, pm me.

 

You'd want more RAM for 699 Euro in my opinion.

But that will play runescape for a few years for you

 

If by m.2 you mean NVME, and not just the format, don’t bother. This budget and build does not benefit from an NVME as people seem to think. Any old SATA SSD will do.

There are better options out there. Try a post on Tweakers if you’re looking to build it yourself. Much more specific with actual Dutch shops there

 

Its decent but it will come down to the games u prefer you can tune it towards what u play
