Would you rather be born blind, or go blind?

I would like 15 Yrs and be blind then you would be still be able to imagine things. And remember things.

 

Me? Born blind. No doubt. If you are blind at the start, you wont know what you are missing. If you are blind in the middle of life, than you will always be mad that you can't do it ever again. You will always imagine what new things will look like, and since you will have a vivid image of the past, you will hate the future, knowing nothing about any sights.

Hope it made some sense, just couldn't get it right.

 

Well.. one of my friends is actually going blind due to the cells in the back of his eyes dying at a rapid rate.
Honestly you'd be better off getting a good education while being able to see.
It'd suck either way
But it's like.
Would you rather have $1million dollars and lose 800k of it after a few years or would you rather be a hobo..
easy choice.

 

Well you can look at it in both ways.

1) You are born blind, hence you don't know what you've missed out on, You get to adapt at an earlier stage, and you won't be scarred for life because you miss being able to see.

2) If you go 15 years with sight, you have seen all that you would want to see and you can at least have people talk to you and set an image in your head. It would be harder for you to adapt to your blindness though.

You choose.

And I'd rather live knowing what colours look like etc.

Try imagining a new colour thats never been seen before, you won't be able to do it.

Definitely go blind later on in life.
yeah, it will be hard re-adjusting to life with no sight but it's worth it.

Having being blind from birth, you will get more time to adapt to it. That would be alot better than seeing then going blind. Think about it, your not going to get anything out of going blind, but if you are blind from death you will be able to guide yourself around alot better.

 

i would rather be born blind than to be blind after some years lol.

coz its easy to move in life if u was born blind... but if u got blind after some several years. it sucks lol

I would rather be born blind. You would not have to have your dream and then have it ripped away from you. I would rather just have it remain a dream to begin with.

I would rather go blind, I would like to see how people look like, how colors look like, how does the woman body look like, see my reflection in the mirror all of that little stuff makes going blind a bit better then being born blind.
