Well im here To Inform every what being Straight Edge is. I hate going to shows and seeing all these little kids walking around with x's on there hands thinking there Cool And Run the world because they dont Drink or smoke when there like 13 years old..

First off all THATS OBEYING THE LAW. not being straight edge.

Straight Edge: The abstinence Of Drinking Smoking And Promiscuis Sex

Drinking Includes: No Acohol or NO CAFFIENE
yes seems a little Crazy but hey. if you want to label yourself as straightedge then thats what it is.

Smoking Includes: Weed, Ciggerettes, Recreational Drugs. And to the extreme some people refuse to take advil and stuff like that

Now Promiscuis Sex: Some people think this is no sex before marriage. Why some people do follow that. It just simply means no sex with a person that you are not in a serious relationship with.

Now where the xXx came from. First off all. it came from people who went to shows that were aloud to drink they would put an x on either hand and when they crossed there arms. it would result in xXx. (a little x on either hand then the big x from crossing there arms)

Now another big concern is: are you able to be straight edge if you have done drugs before. yes you are completly aloud to become straight edge if you have done drugs in the past. as you as you commit to it completely and stay away from drugs then you are able to be striaght edge

So if you think you are straight edge, Id advise reading this and re considering yourself.

 

By definition straight edge may mean the absence of caffeine, but amongst people who drink, smoke, etc. straight edge would mean kids who don't drink or smoke. I've never heard of anyone calling someone straight edge because they wouldn't drink a soda nor do I think I ever will. But, you did some research so it's pretty decent. Just for future reference, this isn't exactly a guide.

Exactly Straight Edge, is also making the most out of life. Honestly, have you ever been to a Parkway Drive, IKTPQ ect, Show? Because all they have is Soda and Soft Drinks. If your gonna say you can't have a soft drink because you believe that will make you straight edge, then you should start wearing eyeliner and be a non-conformist emo.
