yea but some one could not be a bad person and kill someone. doesnt mean they shouldnt get punished for it. its like if your a grade a student in school and get into a fight with some1. ull still get suspended. u should get any special privalages just because you've done nice things before.

 

I think people who do bad crimes should go to prison definetly!

I think everyone is entitled to there natural rights. and if some one purposely takes that away from them then they don't deserve theirs do they? I don't think the death penalty is fair. everyone has an opportunity to change, everyone has a family who loves them, and just because of one mistake they make doesn't mean they should be in jail forever. there are people with families that make bad mistakes and have to suffer there life without there family. I do think prison is right but not for life.

This is a good topic though, TJ. Since none of us can really judge whether or not we have the ability to know the if there truly is a right and wrong, it's more of an opinionated question. But based on the morals which have been brought upon us by previous generations, we learn how to have a proper decision making process (which is correct according to our society). We cannot know if how we handle our criminals (according to previous morals, they are criminals) is correct, but we have to make attempts to detain those who could cause an imbalance in our society. Again, I think the more proper question would be higher up than just prisons. I believe it would go beyond that and more about how we came to the decision that what we practice today is considered proper or not.
