Ultimate GE merchanting manipulation THREAD [unnoffical]

It is like gambling. Investing is gambling. Dont worry im not confusing the two. To manipulate price you must see the price history for an item and see what the chances are of making profit at its current price. Whats makes it more like gambling is when its shared with a large amount of people, like here, and trusting most will follow the rules and sell at max and be patient. Once some of them become impatient and dumb it screws up the chances of high profit.

This isnt 100% manipulating since its mixed with a sort of stock feeling.

Im not trying to tell you not to share your opinion but I am saying you should just post something negative because its not successful. Simply stop doing this and there you dont have to worry about making or losing money with this.

 

gtdarkpunisher you got a good point that manipulating is a gamble because you are relying on other people. Thats why I think other manipulation clans are more successful and can manipulate items of a much higher price, because there is a smaller group of people with huge amounts of wealth, and they are in a closed group where they are all trusted to buy and sell at agreed price, for ultimate profits.

Here however it is not the perfect world, because anyone can look at the prices, they can be greedy, impatient or just aiming to disrupt the manipulation (i.e. not aiming for profit just for others to lose money and decrease trust and increase uncertainty among the rest of us.) Thats why some of these items fail, and others succeed because of the will power and accumulated wealth of everyone who is active on this thread.

 

Its been a great time at this thread, we all made money and lost money at one point or another witch was the point.
