Take donations by phone/sms

Hi,

As you all know runescape use's surfpin to receive payments for their membership service. So i thought why not use surfpin so we call the number or send a text (sms) sythe or whoever makes the account gets the donation withdraws the money to their paypal account and we get our rank. Its scam free. No Chargebacks nothing.

 

Not a bad idea but i think they wouldnt accept it because sythe is a black market site.

 

True they woulden't accept it becuase sythe is a black market site but what if we setup a website as bait.

PLEASE DONT INFRACT OR WARN ME I AM NOT ADVERTISING MY WEBSITE I AM JUST TRYING TO GIVE IDEAS/SUJJESTIONS!

what if we use my website www.fortress-servers.com (i currently have a phone call option setup on my website) so people without paypal can call they get charged on their phone bill. I email them the account information within 72 hours. We can also use somebody's website if their trusted.

Also the service i use lets me withdraw money directly to my bank or paypal. I of course have it withdrawn to paypal. So anybody else want to support this idea?

Lol little kids! Half of the people who play runescape are 14 or under. Most who are 18 or older dont play and if they do they do it just to sell runescape accounts to make money.

I support this idea of mine weather you agree or not dosent matter its up to the admins to decide. I for 1 will use this service cuase not everybody wants to wait so they can get a credit card.

 

I'm saying the little kids, 14 and under, on the site would use this service as a way to donate without their parents initially knowing...

 

Not a bad idea, you could have put a little more thought into this suggestion of yours...
For example, we ring up, we recieve a pin?
Do we use this pin/unique code somewhere on sythe to gain our rank?

Etc, etc, etc...

But as Analog had mentioned...
It will be mainly charged to the parents, most likely without a consent...

Having this would lead to arguments within ones personal life.

Its kinda a 50/50 suggestion...

This is a great idea, if this was allowed I could donate around 20 pins.

 

Thx for all who replied. Well this suggestion might actually work. Also yes we will get a pin code where we can enter it somewhere on sythe so we get our rank automatically. It shows you after you make the phone call it shows a new page with the pin code.

I doubt you guys would trust me but if this idea does go through can i handle the phone/sms payments i mean money will go to sythe like if i can get a cut or something since i got something similar on my website and i doubt anybody here has actually setup a phone option as a payment method.

Also about calling without parents consent i have a idea for that aswell. Since the people can be calling without parents consent now that is something we cant stop. But we can control who can call and who cant. So problem solved block the number they used to call us with. And if they decide to use somebody else's phone and complaint again sythe we can just simple refund their money.

Also this would also be a great idea since i made the phone/sms suggestion. SOME people simply dont want to make a paypal account or release their credit card information online. So what people can do is SMS/or Phone call and they can get the pin number off the website and they can trade that Pin number for a runescape pin.

So lets say I want a runescape membership pin but all i have is a pin for sythe.org which lets me have a 1M donater rank. I can trade my 1M donater rank pin for a runescape membership pin.

Besides, Matthew is doing a terrific job with the donations and i doubt that will change any time soon.

o well i didnt want to scam anybody thats why i said if you dont trust me you dont got to use my website. Also daopay is the name of the website where i setup my phone/sms payment option. ITS FREE!!! unlike the other websites which charge you money per month. It might not be the best compared to the ones you got to pay but A) they wont look at sythe so no need to worry about it being blackmarket. B) Its Chargeback Free meaning no scams.

Question:How many people have to support this idea anyways for the admins to approve my suggestion?

and second, i just went through all your post and found nothing revolving around a donation to sythe, etc...

I think this is a great idea, cause instead of just getting rs pins (from telling horny guys on chat sites that im gunna flash them) i could also get a donator status!!!

Not true, you have to get so many supports from regular users before Admins or Mods can even think about voting.

Also, I think this is a bad idea.

This will raise MANY arguments in family's, as well as cause phone company's to get the money back, etc. etc.

Parents will not be very happy about this. I don't see why any Mod or Admin would go through the trouble of this on Sythe.

If it create's so much problem we can limit it. Like maybe we can do some type of vertification. Like for the phone thing put in your real name Age,Address and stuff and if everything is real and your over 18 you can use the phone payment option and if your under you got to get a parent to sign some contract send it to sythe and phone payment option shud work for u

i think how it is now is ok, phones would make it really complicated...

 

This idea of yours will only lead to abuse and exploit.
