Why does it bother you so much that someone smokes weed and they are damn proud of it? I agree with you on the part that some people do prance around saying they smoke weed and they don't, I don't hate them though. They just wish they were a part of something that is so wonderful and so harmless. Most people who have protested weed to me personally and then tried it completely were taken back by how wrong they were about it.

I don't feel insulted by the fact that you call me fake, or someone who wants attention. I feel bad for you because you have not experienced the great thing that is weed.

everyone who thinks that weed is so bad should watch this documentary (http://blip.tv/file/1356143/) it brings real facts to the table about bud, not some load of bullshit. If you still feel like people who smoke weed like my self or just weed in general are so bad, then it seems you would need more than just facts to sway your opinion and I don't know what else is stronger proof then real factual evidence of weed's innocence

edit: I saw someone said that weed causes cancer. A study just came out proving that weed does not cause cancer and actually prevents many diseases like Alzheimers

also it actually does not kill brain cells, seems the study that said weed kills brain cells did the experiment by putting gas masks on monkeys and sending 60 joints worth of smoke into the monkeys within 5 minutes. The monkeys died from lack of oxygen (suffocation) , lack of oxygen causes brain cells to die first before you actually die out.

 

well first of all. if u smoke weed why go and tell everyone. no1 cares that your wasting your life away. thats your own problem. your not cool acting hard on a RUNESCAPE forums. like seroiusly. its a game were u chop down trees. shoot ice cubes at people and kill big rats.. nothing to be tough over.

 

It is addictive, along with almost anything else.

People can have a serious addiction to almost anything, so essentially it IS addictive. But opposed to food and other addictive things, more people are addicted to weed.

Weed is so hard to actually have a chemical addiction to. you would have to smoke a 4th of an ounce per day for a year, that is 7-16 joints per day depending on how big you roll them. Plus if you ever reach the point of addiction, withdrawal is almost minimal and their is no sick feeling involved.

 

I gave up on debating this issue(anything weed related) long ago because of sheer ignorance by people who oppose it, yes i sometimes see legit arguments opposing it, these are rare and i have seen 0 posted on this thread so far.

But hey you know what they say "ignorance is bliss" and these people seem very fucking blissful to me.

They state untrue "facts" about effects of marijuana, without doing any research, i myself have done 3 high school research papers on Marijuana, i like to think of myself as knowledgeable on the subject. To suggest pot is addictive is utter stupidity, i admire your persistance to teach these idiots facts tho i don't think anyone will ever reach them.

 

Do you even know why it's illegal? Why would the government legalize something that can be grown at home and would need no reason to be bought? You know how much money the government makes from confiscating marijuana from peoples homes and charging them huge fines and jailing them? There would be almost 0 benefits for the government if it were made legal.

The ones who would buy it would just get it from a dealer and not need to pay taxes. You can't tax a lemonade stand, and marijuana is no different. They make it at home, they sell it at home. Nothing is used to track the sales.

Who cares if it masks real life? It's not permanent, just for a couple of hours max. Life sucks for everyone at one time and it's either see a therapist, take depression drugs, smoke weed or other shit that doesn't work. There is nothing wrong from escaping reality once in a while, and gaming is the same thing. Playing Halo, Call of Duty, Runescape, whatever; it all takes you out of reality for the time that you're REALLY into it. Weed does the exact same thing, just better effects and more expensive.

 

I smoke it every now and then, I think as long as you dont smoke it all the time it doesnt do you too much harm. However there are a lot of different ways that you can enjoy yourself without getting high.

It's legal in many places over the world, and i don't believe this is a bad idea. When things are illegal, people want to do them more than ever, however if its legal than there isnt the urge to try it as much.

Personally, I smoke pot regularly, (more than once daily), and it hasn't harmed my health at all. But it does get annoying, the little "noob" potheads, who smoke 3 bowls and get stoned, consider themselves a "stoner."

But, they could legalize the growth, and sale of it, but could have their own grow rooms and they could have stores to sell it. Like sell some weed at a head shop, the government could have BIG benefits from that, from people who're too scared to go through a dealer with fear of getting robbed. The government could make some crazy ass herb, and sell it to the masses, they'd rake in profits.

 

I'm 17, and I don't smoke blunts, I smoke out of a small one hitter, daily. I don't take HUGE hits like you stereotypes seem to think, I smoke enough to get high. Smoking pot does NOT make you a dirtbag, you're a stereotypical prick, open your eyes and judge character.

 

So your saying people who live on there own farms and live off the water there. the cattle and stuff the grow and raise. the government makes no money off that. thats not the complete reason its not legal

First of all, just because I smoke out of a small pipe doesn't mean I smoke small amounts? I actually spend about 45 minutes smoking to get to my "happy" high. I don't smoke that little B grade shit lookin' weed, I actually get decent grade bud. Ignorance..
