Report a Spammer Section

It currently takes 300 seconds wait time between reports.

I'd change this. Make it so post count doesn't go up in these forums. Even though when they archive a thread the post count goes down, some of these never get there and people's post counts still goes up. This, in turn, would discourage members from spam-reporting - in turn bringing overall noob reports down, thus, the timer not being needed.

So, overview:

-Lower timer
-Make post count not go up in this forum

 

tbh there is a shit load of spam in this. less time=more people reporting which means more mods.

 

It's the mod's job to keep Sythe clean.

The timer only hinders that.

 

NOPES.... that means that u can report EVERY spamming post that u see... if the moderator check it or not...wont change it. all we can do its reporting

I too think this is a good decision but it should be improved upon.

The things I like.
-NO POST COUNT added when reporting spam or reporting scammers.
-Lower time to do additional reports.

Things I would add.
-There needs to be a full definition of what is and is not reportable spam/posts, some posts aren't worth a mods time, others are and users need to know exactly what they should or should not report.
-The report spam button should be unavailable on posts that have already been reported by another member to stop the mods being swamped by duplicate reports.

This would be far more efficient.
