Scammer's profile link: Margarita

Explanation of the trade: I went first after confirming with him his discord on sythe. We met in Lumbridge, I gave him the gp, confirmed TWICE I gave him it, accepted trade, and suddenly he changes his tune, telling me I didn't accept and that I'm trying to scam him(at this point he continues trying to mislead), except I'm out of gp and he has my fucking 88m
Amount scammed: 88m
How they scammed: Pretending I didn't give him 88m


Proof of the whole conversation: He confirms once that we're in the trade window, then once again after we BOTH accept the 88m, then fucking backtracks and changes his tune once he has the GP

This guy is trying to make it seem like I'm trying to scam him, but his story doesn't add up.

Firstly, he doesn't even know what to accuse me of, so he pulled blackmail out of his ass,
even though I blocked him the minute I finished making the report, and I have proof (HIS OWN WORDS CONFIRMING THE TRADE, and a screenshot) of his bullshit.


Secondly, I know my GP is probably gone for good now, I just don't want anyone else to get scammed by this cunt.

This guy is insane.

Yeah we got into a trade on OS, he puts up the money gets me to confirm we are in trade then pulls some insane rant saying he paid me. I have no idea what to do here, I've screenshot the rest of the conversation regarding this so called trade. He never accepted anything, i'm assuming it's a blackmail sort of deal to either lose my sythe for Zenyte gold???

I can't reason with him nor even get anywhere I have no idea what he's trying to achieve, he also posted on my vouch thread so can someone please attend to that.

I don't know what evidence I need to bring to the table to get this attended too? Do I send a screenshot of my OS account with an empty inventory lol?

Anyway he's blocked me now so yeah

Pretty much what you've stated is accurate regrading confirmation during the trade. Account wise the screenshot he originally listed that's not me???

RE screenshots - The only screenshots I took was of the conversation nothing to do with trade. To be honest I didn't realize this sh** could happen if someone else was 'going first' in which next time i'm just going to record the trade to stop this BS.

This guy needs to be stopped with his bs and marked as a bad trader

 

I never traded with Margarita in the past, he messaged me on Sythe and sent me his discord. I saw that he had some vouches from reputable people(that I've dealt with in the past) so I went first, I've never been scammed so far so I didn't think to take a video of it. My only proof is the discord chats and the above screenshot, and the fact that my story actually makes sense.. I haven't been in contact with Margarita ever since he scammed me, so I don't see any logic in his angle of "me trying to blackmail him".
