No sounds on internet.

I have no sounds on the internet windows media play winamp etc play sounds. I will play sounds on a select few games like runescape but youtube all other sites there is no sounds. Please help iv gone thru tons of message boards looking for answers.

 

Try double clicking your sound icon in the bottom left tray and making sure all of them are right up. It can still be a driver issue, so get your mobo/soundcard (wherever your sound is on) and post it here and I will find you some updated drivers.

Plug Speakers In And See If You Can Hear Anything From There

 

Uh, duh how would he be hearing sounds on runescape with no speakers. Post count ain't everything.

 

I'v done that i just got the latest drivers too, my sound card is Turtle Beach Riviera.

 

Maybe the stock on-board audio is crapping out, I would suggest buying a $20 sound card that will slide into one of your PCI slots on the motherboard, it will be $20 for a decent upgrade in sound quality plus the correct drivers will be included as software in the box, making it less of a hassle over all.
