Way to choose Mods

I think you should hold interview's etc. to see who is the most experienced before deciding who should be mod, because I am sure there is plenty of people that have experience and maybe could hold 7 day trials to see if they deserve but you should once you have been with sythe for 6 months+ and have 500+ Posts you should have access to a private forum which allows you to apply for a interview with Mathhhew,Ryan,Shredder, Sythe,Smr, or any of the admins which will help get staff's attention of what is out there and would give the not so known kids a chance to show there stuff.. This would stop the contriversy that other mods suggest their friends who are inexperienced, I have owned/Moded many forums, and can see that these are great, but with more active/experienced mods(NOT SAYING THEY AREN'T, But some aren't) then it would be alot better

Mods should be given a week to learn if they already don't. Interviewing them is just a waste of time.

Erm, no. The Sythe Admins have better things to do with their time then listen to all the wbm's beg for a rank. In addition I consider "experience on other forums" completely irrelevant. Sythe has different policies along with a different atmosphere.

If they aren't well-known, why would we trust them with Moderator?

 

Let them choose who they want, that forum would be filled with WBM's.

Interviewing is unnecessary. The admins and moderators have a good understanding of the person who they wish to promote. They don't select a random person so that an interview or anything of the kind is in order.

Moderators do not suggest their friends simply because they want to become moderator. If the moderator sees them as experienced and good enough, then they may make a suggestion for them to become mod. There is no instance of where a person became mod just because their friend was mod as well.

I agree with this, I think hiring mods should be a longer process, I'm not very impressed with the staff as it stand now. If they put more thought into who they were promoting, perhaps the community wouldn't be as overrun by scammers as it is now.
