Selling rsgp is against jagex's rules, but not illegal or against the law. The worst that could happen getting caught selling gold, is the account with the gold getting banned.

The guy who scammed is wrong but i don't feel sorry for ANYONE who got scammed, its your fault for paying real money for something in a video game. It amazes me how people say they got scammed over $500 in real money for like a runescape account? Seriously it's your own fault.

 

I agree, even though scamming is completely low and proves you are scum, you have to be a complete moron to deal real life money without a middle man. Seriously guys would you go up to some hobo on the street selling a nice phone for 50 bucks and just give him 50 and expect a phone guaranteed? It seriously amazes me how people are that dumb.

i making him pay for what he has done anyone that has been scammed by him can u please leave me a personal message telling me how he scammed you and how much real life money he took... he tried scamming me 2 weeks ago and hes going to keep scamming and now im taking him down

 

tell me how can you ban some one for scamming you when selling or buying anything rs is illegal. it's like snitching on a drug dealer who sold you fake coke or something it just doesnt make sense and doesnt seem like it will go anywhere
