More than likely the killer just cut her throat quickly, and she was actually dead immeadiately. He later probably removed the actualy head. It would take some time to get through her spine. So you have a dead girl, a derranged man cutting her head off, blood everywhere, people screaming, everyone was shocked. I doubt any of you can honestly can tell me you're going to run up to a derranged man whose holding and knife and who is hacking away at some girls head...

But my thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of her. It's tragic...
