explanation: was buying 200m for Zelle, after I sent the money i got ghosted. It was an imposter.

amount scammed: 200m

how they scammed: Faked discord ID to be exactly the same as the real person, and got him to PM me.

@Ceremony How did he fake the Discord ID? In the Sythe PM you received clearly the Discord UID he posted isn't the same as the imposter, so why would you proceed to trade the user?

because I was an idiot and didn't double check them and thought it was fine because he pm'd me. It's my fault and I'm stupid. This was supposed to be my first big trade but i wont be able to trade for a while now because that $113 was a lot of money to me.

 

In the future please triple-check to make sure the information lines up before proceeding with the trade. Also refer to the links I posted in my last post as they're really helpful for trading on discord/avoiding these scams. I'm truly sorry for your loss @Ceremony.
