why didn't ron paul win?

I think he would be great if americans elected him as president of the united states...
but i think he didn't win because he didn't support israel and he wasn't supported by oil, weapon ... companies like obama and mccain.....

and anyone please can explain me the election system in the us because I heard even if you win the votes you might not win the whole election ....

 

Most candidates, like Ron Paul, can't keep up with the spending power of the other candidates. Ron Paul did have some off the wall ideas though, yet I voted for him in the primary.

He just couldn't keep up money wise would be my guess.

 

He does not run under the democrats or republicans, which are the two main parties. Most Americans I would think only think about those two, and are committed to their party and rarely will vote otherwise.

 

Ron Paul was a republican, and came in fourth for the Republican nomination.

 

Dont have the money, Americans are stupid, and rather have a black man in office just saying..

Ron Paul would be a great president

I think this thread is more or less asking why he didn't get more votes.

 

Ron Paul scared too many people, even fellow Republicans. His policies are too radical.
