    Nine Inch Nails were awesome back in the day. My brother still listens to them and enjoys them, but he knows that Trent is on his way out.

    Guys... Actually, Green Day isn't dead. They're releasing a new album in 2009 and going on tour. Look on their website!

    Flogging Molly just released a new album in late '07. They aren't dying yet, and I can't wait for Wintersun's new album. It's going to be awesome!

    I completely agree with you about Opeth, their entire discography is completely amazing but they started to lose me on a few songs on Ghost Reveries and the majority on Watershed which hasn't happened to me on any of their past albums except for Damnation.

    Cryptopsy definitely fell off from brutal death/grind to metalcore? their latest installment is terrible. this happened a while ago but Ulver also was amazing and for some reason they decided to take a completely new horrible path

    I agree. I hope their new album won't be like American Idiot. It was good, but I prefered the old albums.

    Exactly, I agree with you 100%. It sucks to see bands die like that but its going to happen sooner or later.

    I can't believe no one has mentioned Metallica... don't get me wrong i love Metallica to death, but they have strayed so far from their roots. Everything after "Metallica" went downhill for them. Name one good album after "Metallica" that sounded as good as "Ride the Lightning" or "...and justice for all". They had a good run, but i think it's time for them to lay down.

    Pretty much any pop/rock band on MTV like the 'All American Rejects'.


    Were the naked brothers band ever big??? Did they ever get past nickelodeon?

    And, no, Green Day done well this year with "21 Guns". It was a TF2 song!
