you need to look up tutorials

the compo is fairly bad in all the sigs. also text placement in the sigs.

but your text sigs/banner things were pretty good. keep it up

Mind you, I had little choice over a lot of these because they were requests, I had something to follow.

I took what I was given in most cases and tried to make it work. If that didn't happen then idk what to say.

I don't follow tut's on what I do anymore, only time a follow a tut is when I see something cool that would be fun to do, i.e. Viper's Tuts, or the reflective text I did.

And as much as your opinions matter to me, I don't like many sigs of yours; Maybe 2-3 at max.

So I probably won't take any of what you said into account.

^ And I can say that because, the text/sigs or banners, were either just text(anyone can do), or they were the GoNaruto ones that was just a modified version of one of my past sigs. So LOL

oh and your pentool???? wtf did you pentool .. the line ? or the bad case around the pasted screen?

 

1)I did not start GFX here, I started on another site, and learned from people who make sigs that completely out-do you and your sigs. So do not tell me that I don't know when I see good sigs, because I HAVE seen them and continue to see them daily. Your's aren't good in my eyes.

2)I don't want your confidence, and I guess it is "only sythe gfx" but if you feel that we are so bad at our GFX get out of the GFX section and stop trying to give us a false since of confidence.

3)My pen tool, that was my 2nd time using it, and I like being able to manipulate the line in that way. The "bad case" was just me brushing around, to give it some depth. Once again, this was my 2nd time using the Pen tool ever, and I had just learned the basics of it. So if you want to flame for trying something new, go for it.

Look kid/dude/man/it/woman, I obviously do not like you or your GFX and you feel the same towards me, so get off my thread.

I don't want a flame war with you, and if one comes to happen I will report you immediately. So please do not reply.

 

Why are you getting so defensive? YOU seem to be the one flaming HIM. All he did was give you some good CnC, you REALLY need it. I would advise looking up some tutorials, they can really help you out. You need some work on your text.

 

I don't follow tuts anymore, so no. And if that causes my work to be any less in quality or overall good in someone's eyes, I don't care lol.


Also, he said I don't know when I see a good sig, said it's only "sythe gfx" which seemed to be an insult to not only me, but people on sythe. He has every right to his own opinion, and can express it freely.

And to me it seemed like he thinks he is really good at making sigs, like REALLY good, and I don't feel that way. So he felt that it's because I can't recognize a good sig when I see one, well, I also find that to be an insult.

But oh well, you can close the thread if you like.

C'mon Solid Tank, he's obviously too good for tutorials.

I would agree, your work isn't particularly exquisite, but your not terrible. I would agree with Solid on this one, you should have a look at some of the tutorials posted by previous graphics artists.

You won't get anywhere without criticism, but what am I saying, your obviously to good for them.

PSS: His signatures are 100x better than yours, get over it.

 

Criticism and Tutorials got me this far. I may have acted like was "too good" for more tutorials or criticism, but I just took it the wrong way, and I apologize.

If you feel that way, that is your opinion, and I hold nothing against you for feeling that way. But I don't feel that way so there is nothing we can do about it.

Good luck getting anywhere when you think that you don't need the help of tutorials.

That is not opinion, it's fact.

Even if you have specific parameters, as to how flexible you can get with the piece of GFX, that isn't an excuse for these signatures sucking.

So lesson we learned from this?

You can't get anywhere in graphics if you're going to be stuck-up and not listen to advice.

Oh, adn by the way, that text is really annoying.

 

Stop the flaming. If you don't want to contribute constructively, shoo. If you're not willing to take constructive criticism, you also shouldn't post here.
