How to upload pics without clicking on the link.

Hi all, this guide was only made for people that dislike clicking on links to see pictures where as with this guide when you open up a new thread you can see the pictures without very annoyingly having to click on the link.

Step 1.
To take a picture press PrtSc/SysRq, located here on the normal keyboard:


Step 2.
Open up paint and then hit Ctrl-V



Step 3.
Crop you picture to your size, I have cropped mine in the yellow area.


Step 4.
Then hit Ctrl-N and select "no" and then Ctrl-V to paste down your cropped picture. It should then look like this. EDIT; now save the picture and save it as .jpg because that gives better quality.


Step 5.
After you have done that go to; www.tinypic.com, www.imageshack.us or www.photobucket.com. In this case I have used www.tinypic.com because I find it easy and quick to use.


Step 6.
Hit the browse button and find your photo that you are uploading. Press open.


Step 7.
Then you should get this:

Now press the upload button.

Step 8.
The next screen that you see should look like this

Ctrl-C the writing in the box shown in the picture.


Step 9.
Go to where you are posting your picture and Ctrl-V the writing that you just copied.
Should look like this


The finished product:


If you hate clicking on peoples links to see pictures (like me) then you can support me by putting this in your signature and help spread the word that clicking on links is lame and annoying!

Hey nice work, this should help alot of new sythe members.

 

I'll just say now that this guide has been overdone MANY times. Not that you can't do it again, it's just really not needed. With that aside, let's look at the guide!

The guide is:

• Neat and easy to read
• Quick and to the point (9 easy steps)
• Grammatically correct (for the most part)
• Provides helpful and relevant pictures

I think this guide could use:

• A quick spell check
• Some colors to highlight the headings such as Step 1, Step 2, etc.

I give it a 4/10 for originality and an 8/10 for content. Overal, a 6/10.

Hey nice guide with pics and all but there already is a guide about how to do this in the RS2 Pictures and video. But anyway its very detailed

Can I say fail?
First of all, you didn't mention your OS platform. In example, if I am using MAC, it has different way of taking screenshots, plus there is no "paint" program in MAC.
Second, I don't get why make a guide like this. Not unless you are computer illiterate that much.
Third, it is really really easy to take screen shot, upload and post it.

I thought you were going to show how to right click it, select properties, and then copy the image link already uploaded to the net.

When people just post the direct link to a photo, that usually means the picture is big and they don't want it taking up a lot of space. Also, there are a lot of guides on how to do this, but this is a good guide. 4/10

 

yes but people dont need screen shots the size of there computer screen because they are too large and i agree with you that there are many guides with this info in it. thanks for the advice.
