Was Sarah Palin and George Bush McCain's downfall?

I say Yes, because the media attacked Palin every way they could. They made her look like a dumb blond and has no clue what she was talking about. 1st the media talked about her pregnant daughter and said if she couldn't control a 17 year old. How is she going to control more then 300 million people? They also made her a mean old butcher because they kept talking about how she used to hunt moose and still does. Also she actually said Alaska is close to Russia and I know Russian politics.....
Now unto George Bush. Obama kept talking about that McCain kept supporting George Bush's policies and he only cares about the rich. He said he would continue Bush's policies and we would never see change and will dig a deeper hole then we are now.

McCain just happen to choose Sarah Palin and as vice-president. Also it wasn't his fault that people kept looking at him as a "New George Bush". So under this account, McCain was never going to win because he picked Sarah Palin and he was white and a Republican.

 

His policies were his downfall.
