MSN Messenger- how many contacts can I get?

If you don't like any form of discrimination, tell me and everyone by adding me and just IM me saying "I want to stop discrimination!" It is just to see who will take 10 seconds of their life to stand up for what they support.

just add random fake msn's, they take up space they just probably will never be online.

 

I'm pretty sure you can have 3k contacts, because on the older versions I had 1.5k and that was max. But that was 3 versions of msn ago.

 

I could never go past 1k Everytime I did, My MSN would lag and wouldn't add people.

 

I would never have more than 300 contacts, every time I did, I'd make a new one. My current one has just under 100 contacts.

 

I currently have 5msn's each over 1.5k contacts.

I got 2k atm,it's not great... I always have around 125 contacts on...

 

2400 something on my public MSN. Takes forever to log on..

 

I have 1.7k on my old one but it is to slow so I don't use it takes about 5 mins just to loggin.

 

Well, I was showering and thinking, why not people add me to show their support to stop discrimination? And why not me pick a random person in a sort of draw to win a RS account?

Sounds like you have a popularity issue. But msn can only hold 1k people, and after that it starts deleting random contacts (I found that the hard way)

 

I suggest you just check on the MSN webpage for the absolute answer. But let us put it this way. Anything over 1,00 is quite slow.

 

Actually, there are many people I know with more than one thousand MSN contacts, the latest version holds about 2500 contacts.

About the popularity issue... no

On both of my MSN's, I probably have 100-150 contacts. I try to keep only the ones that I actually talk to added.

 

Well I use meebo because I'm on a mac. And about the popularity issue, if you didn't have one, you wouldn't add people you don't know.
