    The "Why" project.

I felt inspired to make a project. A project that asks why? Why are there children starving when there are people who are eating meals so lavish, and so expensive it would cost a fortune just to eat it. I intend for this to be a project that would make sense. A collage of grouped pictures inside a question mark, that just gives you the feeling to ask, why? I was imagining things that would go together, such as the first example side by side. A picture of a sweatshop with children working and next to it would go a picture of one of those big name brands that have been rumoured to support the use of children in their labor.

Maybe a picture of a rural village in India and next to it would be a picture of a big city, where men and women are walking in relative plenty compared to the picture of the village. A happy smiling face that one can only know by instinct to be a picture of someone from a country that isn't "poor", and grouped with it would be a child from Africa in all his/her heartwarming, yet...saddening situation. Do you think it would be a project worth doing? Something that will make people think. I still feel inspired, I do not know whether or not anyone else would think of this to be a good idea.

I am not the best at explaining things. I just want to ask if you guys think it would be a good idea. And if you have any that you think doesn't make sense.
Another example would be, a picture of a group(a clique i think would be more appropriate) and alongside it would be a picture of one of our quintessential "loner" kids. Help me with this project if you think it's a good idea. Give me ideas of what to put.

Not all people in trouble are ones of 3rd world countries, USA, Australia, and England have poor people also. Use different places, more "close to home" examples.

Over all you used bad subjects to use, in my opinion. But if you want to carry on your collage, be my guest.

    The "Why" project.

    I won't quote you.

You have to think about the the "how" before you think about the "why".

Why are they there? Many things. They may have been born into a poor/rich family. Sometimes, you're born into a family so poor, you don't have the choice to "work". Opposed to being bored into a rich and wealthy family, you have the choice, however, you don't need to dwell upon it.

    "Loner" vs "Clique".

Not everyone is objective as the next. Some people are more subjective, and choose to add their own to the equation. Some kids want to have friends, just not the ones that are there to choose from.

You have to think about those things. >.<

There are answers to those "whys". Most of them located in countries' political and social structures.

As for the question of "Is this a good idea?" what are you trying to accomplish? Fund raising or just general awareness?

    The "Why" project.

Why don't the rich people give to the poor? Why don't the rich and wealthy familes become more aware that they have it good and don't give more of their money to charity?

Oh for the loner vs clique, why doesn't he like them? It's not as easy to answer. For one thing the "loner" may be shy, so why aren't the people in the cliques asking him/her to join them? Why would he not want to be in a group? People would not want to be a group only if they have a good explanation, usually a bad experience with "friends", or just someone who had one of the "weirder" habits, weird as deemed by the "normal" people. I hope you're getting what I mean.

    poverty is caused by corruption

we wont get rid off poverty until we get rid of corruption thats ur answer

btw if ur reading this and dont no what corruption means its like having power over another and using that power for the higher status's own well being, example, a kid goes to school with 5 bucks a bully comes up and takes that 5 bucks, nuff said (btw think about how u can stop corruption :))

Because I could care less about people I don't know - note I didn't say 'poor people' because I'm not in a very good situation myself right now. Even so, I prefer to keep my money rather than hand it out without receiving anything myself.

This matter isn't collective, as different reasoning applies to different people.

Non-sense. World is world. You can't change it.
    Simple question to you:
Do you do this because you want to make your soul to feel better?
    or
Do you do this to help other people?

    The "Why" project.

This caught my attention not because I agree with it but because I disagree with it. Asking, "why?" will do nothing until you fully understand the situations rather than just looking at all the poor people and feeling sorry for them. Believe it or not, people don't always want your subjective pity. Those people may have hardly any money, but, hell, they're used to it. You look through your expensive, irreplaceable computer screen and conclude that you couldn't stand to live in a small village without electricity, but I expect it's much more imaginable (and managable and ordinary, etc) if you're born into it.

I tried it once - I ran out of money pretty fast, and that was just more stress on my behalf. Joy? Pretty screwed over ideal of joy you have there.

    The "Why" project.

Since we're being subjective about this, as shown by your post, here we go.

The rich don't give to the poor for many reasons. One, Swan said. Another is that they can't give to everyone. Would you not feel bad if after relinquishing all of your money on different varieties of the poor, there were more poor people and you couldn't give anything to them?

Also, why would I give my money to someone who wouldn't give it to me if I were in that situation? You have to think about these things.

Another thing. If I realized I had it good and someone didn't, why would I go out of my way to stop 'having it good', for temporary satisfaction?

    Loner vs Clique --

There can be many reasons why someone wouldn't like a certain group. It all depends on the person. Again, subjective.

He could not want to fuse himself in with them if their level of maturity or intellect wasn't to his standards. Also, he could simply not want to try.

Too many reasons. Too many answers to your questions.

"Why" doesn't focus around objectiveness. It doesn't focus around fact. This is one main thing that makes the question obsolete.
