Well not to burst your bubble but your ideals are stupid. Things have happened in the past which the general "White" race has been moreover responsible for. Most of humanities suffering is our fault. We will suffer from our ancestors decisions no matter how stupid that may sound. People dont just get over things. Scars do last forever.

He interpreted it in a way that would make someone believe that this kind of stuff still exists (I.E. Black man go to the back, etc.). I hate to burst your bubble, but this isn't the 1950s anymore. There is now a black president, first lady, etc. but the "White man needs to embrace what is right"? What exactly needs to be done?

 

"White man needs to embrace what is right" means that the white man or anyone that still believes there should be segregation or some differences between races is wrong, and needs to change their mindset now that we have the President that we do.

I hate when people say "blacks are racists" or "whites are racist". You can't judge a whole race over a few individuals. Or, for that matter, claim a whole race is racist.

 

So according to his logic, it's only the white people that segregate themselves from other races? How about the African-Americans that I see everyday mouthing off about how illiterate and simple-minded white people are? Shouldn't they "Embrace what is right"? The fact that he would say "White man" as opposed to "Man" in general just proves that he is the one that is still segregating races.

Also, I'm still a bit unsure as to who the "Red" and "Yellow" people are.

What the reverend said was not racist, it was basically a play on words. It was not intended to be mean or exclusive, just a play on words. I can hardly see how it could offend anyone, everyone seemed to love the prayer.

I wasn't saying whites are the only people who are racist..I was pretty much just repeating the title and stating a well known fact, white people are racist.

He wasn't just saying that white people are the only ones in the wrong, he's just saying it that way because of things said in the past and it rhymes.. Other reasons also
