Second sig I ever did, good or bad?

Second sig I ever done just got PS today. Tell me whatcha think :idea:

 

c4d whored.. render looks ok text is kinda horible with the shadow and style.. use fliters and other stuff dont use c4ds to much it takes away from the image..

 

Mm, he is basically right. The text is horrible because it seems to be the vocal point in the signature. Ask if you need me to explain. Another important key to remember is the 'text location', as it also determines the viewers vocal point. I would have tried blending it, the text, in the background and I would suggest downloading new fonts, as the standard styles that come with Adobe Photoshop all stink. As a beginner to this product, I would not try to begin with c4d's as you will develop a habit of abusing the c4d's in each signature you create; it's another story, if you create your 'own' c4d's. Not to mention, you will see many people abuse c4d's in their signature. Don't confuse yourself, as c4d's can make a signature look great but only with experience.

I actually really like the look of that, it is a bit filled with C4D's , but that's not always a bad thing. I think it looks very good for a new user of Photoshop. The lighting looks very nice also. Good work.

 

That made me LOL! Vocal point hahahaha, please man learn it yourself before you preach it. Focal point btw.

back on topic...

looks like u stole some background, pasted a render on it and added text.

read tutorials on blending,effects, compo, depth, text placement, etc. just google sig tutorials.

 

I agree with most everything already said.
Its not bad, but the text Should Not be the Focal Point.
Maybe try and make the Render Come forward a bit?
