Watch Out (Scamming Emails)

I am getting many of these emails, i think this is in the wrong section, but this is also where most steam users come to so i decide to put this in this section.
-I got varies emails saying that i won "w/e w/e game" and i need to login to verify these emails are obviously fake.

REAL STEAM EMAILS END WITH @steampowered.com (Note: you should only get emails from [email protected])

IF ANYONE ELSE HAVE SOME EMAIL ADDRESS THAT THEY WOULD LIKE TO REPORT POST IT HERE SO WE KNOW!!!

 

yeah got it as well, kids now a days think there smart.

 

How do these kids get emails anyways? or they just email anyone o_o

 

i got 1 from an impersonation of u toeknee
the email was [email protected]

i got one too, it probably originated from a sythe member going around to posts and grabbing up emails. ROFL

 

Yeah i agree, this is getting pretty crazy, both my aol and msn got emailed.....

 

hmmm haven't check my aol yet. lets go see.

It isn't hard to spoof an email address.

I'll send any one of you a legit looking email from [email protected] or [email protected] if you want me to.
