A way to check who is viewing your profile on facebook.

It's long been wanted, I use to know some application that shows you show visited your profile.

SURELY, there has to be at least one person on this site of so many programmers who knows how to see who views your facebook profile, or can create an application to do so?

Come on people, tell me something at least.

 

Just go onto FaceBook, and search through the Application's. It's really not hard. If you still can't find it, send a email to the support.

 

...It's against the privacy policy at Facebook kid. And also, the applications which do something of this nature are always banned, that's why I'm looking for an insider programmer, so I can use the program myself.

 

You'd have to use an image linked to an external site, but all you'd get is the IP addresses.

 

Since they don't allow it, storing names of who has viewed who's profile would be counterproductive.

 

Guessing this is the same policy for myspace?

 

The facebook API has been intentionally designed to prevent applications that allow this sort of thing.

yes.... have an iframe that links to another site that gets the data that you want....

 

yeah I don't think an external dynamic picture could access session vars... could it?

 

surely there has to b a way to check if someone has viewed ur profile on facebook... how could that b in an invasion of privacy if its YOUR profile? that doesnt add up to me... you should hav the right to check it and know... it should be mandatory that you can see who has looked over ur profile actually....

 

Ofc it's an invasion of privacy. And BTW, it isn't your profile, nowhere near that. Facebook own it, you don't.
