Explanation of the trade: He wanted to buy 800m 07, i found it fishy the way he was speaking and also found it fishy how he was buying 07 gold yesterday for 0.61 cents a mill, and today he offered me 0.74 cents a mill... I offered to do the trade in 200m increments, I traded the first 200m, he sent the bitcoin after, but after i traded him the second 200m he said he was logging into his other bitcoin account and he would be 3 minutes, i gave him 5 minutes before i asked him what was going on, then hours past and he didnt message back!

Amount scammed: 200m = $148 USD.

How they scammed: Took my 200m and logged out, never responded since.

How did your buying rate for gold go from 0.61/m to 0.74/m? Secondly, how were you browsing the forums/RAS section but not responding to her over Discord?

 

I was originally buying gold at .61/m because i thought those were the rates. I had no idea they were at .70+

I found the rates were higher after talking to others through the night. I never closed my original offer thread as It was still under review (not posted).

I discussed the reasoning why i didnt respond to the thread with vickies. And why i didnt respond to them via discord.

The only reason i had not responded yet was because I wanted to write out my situation when I had time. I had just woke up, i was picking up breakfast for my sister in law, wife and I. I peeked to see if i had a report against me, yes. If i had a report, i was going to manage it there. Since I didn't, i was waiting till I got home to reply to you and explain the situation... I'm not the type os person that scams, or harms anyone. I keep to myself 99% of the time. I dont like drama or arguments. I dont like going back and forth with someone. Yes, shit happened. From your perspective it seemed as if I scammed. But thats why theres a report a scammer thread. Your friend Keith and you took to my Facebook. I came home with food for my wife and sister to be immediately questioned on who the fuck TI & Leonard are. And why they're calling my son retarded etc. That's the sole reason why I did not reply to you, nor the scam thread, as I knew I had to explain my current situation, etc. I wasn't attempting to scam you, life happened, and unfortunately, i chose life over responding to a video game. I don't care what amount it is, this is my business that I'm able to put money away for my kids savings account. This is something i do soley as a hobby to earn extra money for my kids future. I wouldnt ruin this for a single second. I'm sorry shit happened the way it did. I can back up every argument ive stated. I have text messages that night between my wife and I talking about a divorce. (Included with admin reply) You can view my screenshots i sent of me confirming our trade. You'll see my battery percentage. I'm on EST, it was very late , by the time I plugged my phone in, I was in bed, which I fell asleep.

 

The rates were around 0.64-0.66 at the time, I was trying to dump everything for high price because the osrs gold rate dropped rapidly.

He has good excuses, I don't know if i should believe him or not. Reallyconfused... But it was very fishy that he wouldn't respond for almost 24 hours.

 

You also blocked me on discord before completing the transaction... Very weird my dude.

 

Due to the fact that you doxed me and were talking shit to me and my family. I didn't want any communication with you, which is the reason why I had @Beast intervene.

It's difficult to know your intentions behind this but staff have decided to be lenient. You could have gone about this a lot better. Given your own personal circumstances, you should be more empathetic to others who may be in a tougher situation than you. Having someone disappear on you mid trade and not respond (while browsing Sythe) is anything but reassuring. You've been given a TWC, which you can appeal in 30 days: Dispute a Ban or TWC

You gave up your personal information (knowingly or unknowingly) to @Miss Vickies, it's not unreasonable for her to reach out to you through Facebook considering you logged out mid-trade and never responded back. Having said that, @Miss Vickies you should have resorted to a report before taking things into your own hands. I hope this serves as a warning.
