Explanation of the trade: 07 GP for Runelite plugin.

How they scammed:

We used @Baod as a middleman for the trade. He gave 80m 07 gp to Baod, i sent him the plugin helped him install it. We had problems at first with it not working and we eventually sorted it out and it was because he had the wrong F keys to change from inventory to prayer and back etc. So after he changed his f keys the plugin worked perfectly as described! But he said it wasn't good for him since he has AHK for his switching during pking and he needed his previous f keys but this wasn't stated beforehand nor was brought up at any point before the trade happened. So he currently has the WORKING plugin and i have not received my money thus him getting a free plugin scamming me for 80m.

When you purchase something it is to suit you not the opposite person! He never told me in the description it would have to be his set up if he did I would not have purchased! I’ve used the pluggins before and anytime I’ve ever used it you haven’t had to have anything like that set up in the correct order!

he then said he would get it sorted which is fine! Then asked for the payment and I told him not until he’s got it sorted as I can’t use what I brought off him until then! He then decided to try and send me viruses telling me he was going to hack me was very unpleasant to deal with even the MM was going to refund me because of his attitude! I’ve got proof of all of this. If he could genuinely sort it out and fix it to make it work for me he would not have kicked up such a fuss and in my eyes he’s sold me faulty goods! I am not a scammer have nothing but good feedback from all my customers would not ruin my reputation for something so petty! If you want screen shots of all the abuse and threats to scam hack and send me viruses I have them here! He is not pleasant and shouldn’t be allowed to talk to people the way he does all I wanted was for him to fix it and get the money after! He agreed he would get it fixed and now he’s kicking off about it because I wanted it fixed before payment was released if he can fix it what’s the problem! Who’s the scammer here

 

he should have said before he tried selling it to me that it had to be in his set up as everyone knows that everyone’s set up is different! It would be like learning to pk again with the f keys all messed up that should have been clearly stated!

If I need to show screen shots about his discusting Attidude or attempts so scam hack and threaten me then I will. And him also saying he will fix it which he clearly can’t just wanted to get off quick with the funds.

Firstly, apologies for the delay on this report. @Ryan2523 How difficult is it for you to change the hotkeys for the plugin? It doesn't seem too difficult or lengthy of a task to complete and you said you'd help him get situated with that, so please do that and let me know once this has been resolved so that the money can be handed over to you. You are the developer, therefore you should be asking questions prior to starting the script, although @Ryandodd1991 you should've communicated better beforehand as well.

 

I don’t think he can else it would have been done also he hasn’t even messaged me since I did ask him to change he said he would and nothing so what happens now if he doesn’t reply or can’t do it ? I know there’s a couple sellers of the same plugin on here I asked them does it have to be certain hotkeys and they said no which is what I thought in the first place.

 

We'll give @Ryan2523 time to reply first before proceeding.

I sent @Ryan2523 a message on Discord since he's been unresponsive here even though he was on Sythe a couple of days ago. If he doesn't get back to me within the next couple of days, then I'll most likely have the money reimbursed to you from the middleman since the script wasn't working with your setup and he agreed he'd fix this issue but hasn't yet done so or made any effort to respond to this report. I'm not sure if there are certain circumstances preventing him from being responsive and it's clear he's not scamming as he's not holding the funds, therefore I'd like to be lenient and give him a couple more days.

 

Yes ok bud that’s fine. Just a lot of my gp is being held and it’s a waste due to not being able to use the plugin I brought

 

I will not be recoding it to fit Ryandodds needs as he already has the plugin for the standard keybinds.

 

@Ryan2523 Do you have a thread or link where you're selling these scripts or was this all negotiated privately on Discord so I can see everything such as your script/terms, etc? You said you'd try to adjust it and I can't imagine that it'd take too long, so I don't see the issue. Also you're making this extremely difficult as you're taking forever to reply to this report and haven't responded to my Discord DM either. I hope all is well, but I'd appreciate if you could try to respond a bit quicker.

 

either way let me know please if script can be fixed or wether I get a refund as it’s like most of my bank

 

@Ryan2523 If you don't cooperate here I'll have no other choice than to have the GP returned to the buyer from the MM. I'm trying to resolve this situation for you two, but it's difficult as I said before if you're taking forever to reply.

 

Sorry, ive just started work again. I'm not able to change the code now as my macbook has been left at my previous house and I won't be returning for at least a few weeks now. I'd be happy accepting half of what was initially agreed as a compromise.

 

I understand and that resolution seems fair given that you've given the script over, however I'd first like to double check some things beforehand. Please reply to me on Discord when you're able to.
