Do you have to claim xp from mm to get barrows gloves?

on my zerker pure update thread people keep saying i need to claim the xp from mm to get the gloves is that true? this is the first time i have heard about this.

 

Ye cause for one quest for RFD you need to go cook something for the monkey king and need to go to Ape Atoll which is impossible without getting the xp.

 

i found this on a website i even checked his math there is hope for me!
level 45 is~61,512 xp
level 40 is~37,224 xp (you prolly got 1k-2k more xp)
Your xp added to rfd quests is 62,224 (barely over 45)
But then you still need to do fremmy trials for zerker helm (I'm assuming you didnt do)
Which will put you at 65,036 xp
Level 46 is 67,983 xp so if you are barely over 40 def then you could get barrow gloves/zerker helm at 45 defence!

 

Yes, you need to do the Awowgei subquest

 

Did you finish monkey madness yet?

If you didn't, you could try not killing the demon, and then trying to cook the snake before you finish monkey madness.

 

You have to finish Monkey Madness to inspect the monkey.

Yes, you MUST claim the xp to complete RFD.

That sounds interesting, but on all the quest guides they put MM as a requirement and don't say anything about not finishing it.

And also rune pures kind of need D-scim, it's helpful.

 

Yea, if you really planned out your zerker pure, you would have found that all the important quests give xp equal to 46 defence. I think. Check the guide on zybez.net's forums for zerker pures, it'll probably give you your answer.
