    Hetrosexual - Homosexual

Some questions to think over, add some, answer some, discuss some. This is a very controvercial subject.

In the same enviroment, do hetrosexuals and homosexuals have the same rights?

    Do homosexuals get overlooked?

Do homosexuals take advantage of thier sexuality?

Do you ever feel homosexuals are too 'touchy'?

Again, add some, answer some, discuss some. Just, i'm entreagued.

There's definitely a number of homosexuals who use their sexuality to an advantage. Just like you have black people pulling the race card; you have homosexuals pulling the sexuality card to make it sound like whoever is disagreeing with him has a problem with homosexuals.

You can't disagree with homos without being racist (or as some kids say here "homophobic", which is a completely different thing... Sigh).

Homosexuality is just another way to draw attention for lonely kids.

    Yes, homos get overlooked.

Sure, let's enter a discussion saying we don't like the subject then leave.

    I like your logic.

@Dark: It's Uber - in case you didn't know. Glad to see age doesn't matter either ;).

I saw that, lots of controversy over idiotic things. However we're getting off subject :(.

@Pshynosis: Racism is discrimination based on race, and I can assure you homosexuals don't have their own race. On the opposite side of your comment, you claimed homophobia was different than prejudice against homosexuals, guess again.

    Think about it.

There are Caucasian homosexuals, African homosexuals, Asian homosexuals, and they all belong to their respective races. Perhaps I worded it wrong; "Homosexuality" is not a race.

I've always looked at it this way - though I'm naive so I may not be completely right: Race is typically defined by skin color, but more "correct" when defined by ethnic backround.

Why not? Even though most of you prolly disagree, they are genetically humans.

    Que?

Everyone takes advantage of something in their life..some use that their parents are divorced, some that one parent is dead, etc. You will always find this, trying to '1 up' effect

Don't see how that has any relevance to the above questions, but not really..i have met gay's that are complete and utter dickheads, and others that will cry on que. So it goes both ways.

    Hetrosexual - Homosexual

Like previously stated, homosexuals tend to take serious advantage of certain things due to their sexual orientation, similar to race. However, they can argue this is entirely founded due to the past and some homophobic individuals who treat them like dirt. So as much as it seems unfair that they have the opportunity to use this as leverage, it is really small compensation for everything else they must endure (this is mostly for homosexuals; being black is not only acceptable in today's society but it is also cool apparently :p ).

So yes they do take advantage of their sexuality in some situations; any insult with sexual bearing is proclaimed discrimination whereas for the opposite sex it is ignored. Once again though they due have to endeavor a lot of teasing etc. so if I was gay I'd probably do the same.

I think the discrimination card is definitely pulled way too many times although sometimes it's rightfully true. It seems when one finds out they're gay, they tend to go after the stereotype and prove it as right as possible.

Being gay is no longer strictly sexual preference, it's a huge cultural change that people make to be "different". Flamboyancy plays a key role in this cultural change that makes other people think differently of them. Maybe they're not interested in being flirted with. Maybe it disgusts them.

    whats the difference?

the only difference is that the homosexual feels sexual emotion towards the SAME sex. everything else is the same.. (other than some minor environmental aspects, such as a lifetime of name calling etc)

there are people in a pub who are "touchy" and cant keep their hands off the female waitresses. on the other hand, there can also be people in the pub who sit in the corner drooling, but do not have the courage to interact in any way.

the same applies to homosexuals.. some of them cant keep their hands off you, but others cant get their hands on you..

most of the stereotypes that gays come up to all men and start licking their ears comes from TV and other media outputs..
