Guide to Barbarian Assault on a Defence Pure

Well im not sure this is going to be very usefull or not since not many people create defence pures, but i'd just like to share the tips and tricks defence pures use (or at least the ones that i use) to get a fighter torso on a defence pure

Let's get started-

To do this i would say the BARE MINIMUM requirements would be 40defence for rune and Health points at least 30+ and some pretty damn good friends that'll help you out some when you need it

The route to Barbarian Assault

Well its pretty straight forward, Get a games necklace, rub it, and choose the barbarian assault teleport option which should be the first option. Barbarian Assault should look something like this-


Attacker Role-

It's quite straight forward but in order for you to gain points in here you need a friend. From waves 1-7, with a good healer, you should have no problem with healers so you can stay an attacker. When your an attacker, obviously you can't really attack so what you do to be useful is to hide near the horn of glory. It is on the east side when you are in the mini game. If you hide behind it no creatures can attack you. Since there might be some idiots in your group if your in world 6 (there always are) its best if you actually use the horn instead of hiding behind it. When you use it it will look something like this-

Just call out what you see on the right side using the options on the left side for each role

Defender Role-

I don't recommend being a defender past wave 6 because the monsters will soon demolish you, but if you choose to not listen to me... you can always hide behind the horn of glory until the monsters slowly die down. REMEMBER, the horn is your friend Once the monsters die down you can just start luring the runners to the traps. It's pretty straight forward, nothing special you have to do.

Collector Role-

My favorite role when it comes to barbarian assault! when your in the first 3 waves you can move freely and collect your eggs but once your in wave 4+ i suggest using once again the horn of glory method . You don't even need to collect eggs to get points, just make sure you call out what you need to and you will still get a fair amount of points. Once the monsters die down though feel free to collect.

Healer Role-

The healer role is simple. Poisen the penance healers and make sure your team mates don't die. For defence pures you can be a single healer for the first 4 waves, but past 5 I STRONGLY recommend 2 healers, one at least level 3+. When your on waves with higher level monsters you have no choice but to hide once again, (i think you guys caught on to a pattern by now on what defense pures do?) while your friend heals all by himself. I suggest telling the other healer not to try and kill the penance healers and to wait untill the rangers and fighters are all dead. Then you can swoop in and help clear out the penance healers as well.

Fighting the Queen-


First off you need to kill the queen at least one time for a fighter torso or a fighter hat which means you will need to follow this method whether you like it or not. This may take a couple tries as it took me 3 to perfect my method, experimenting different ways.

Your team should consist of the following-

a lvl 100+ attacker with decent melle stats and def
A collecter with high hitpoints and defence
A defender with high hitpoints and defence
You (the noob bugging your friends to help you get a torso)
A Level 5 healer (you might make it with level 4, but i doubt it:laugh: )

For fighting the queen I recommend being the healer. the reason is because you will be constantly getting pounded by the queen and the larva things ( i have no clue what there called. i forgot ) . For the final wave you hide behind the horn and wait until the queen comes. When the queen does come you will be kicked off the hill and unable to get back on so this is the time you must tank epicly.

When you are "tanking" you get an attacker to stand in front of you while you are near the spring drinking rapidly.

The attacker fends off and keeps the larva from reaching you while you get hit by the queen. You occasionally heal him to so you to must work together. The collecter takes the eggs and passes them to the level 5 healer. NOT YOU. then the healer dips it in the green shit. The attacker will have to leave you for a while so i suggest getting the defender or healer to fight off larva for you. Or you could tank depending on you defense and hitpoints. Then the healer passes it onto the defender which dips it in other shit, and gives it back to the collecter. The collecter and the healer both go load the eggs and start shooting. It is your job to occasionally heal your team mates while making sure you do not die. The healer will heal the collector and run back to refill his vile. If all goes according to plan you should get this

at first i said it was imposibble for you to beat queen without being heal, she proved other why's. Solo healed me

Couple things wrong:

1. With 40 defence you can Defend all the way to wave 8.
2. You do NOT have to be healer. A good level 5 can heal you all the way (I can prove this as I soloed healed with kpk as coll)
3. It's possible to complete the queen with 9hp.

Other then that you should be okay.
