Aussies - 17 years old at Schoolies

I just realised, at the end of the year, at the time of schoolies, I'll still be 17 >_> What can I do/where can I go? Where the police are lenient on alcohol consumption? I wanted to go to Surfers Paradise originally, but that probably won't work out well for me ...

I'm the oldest, I can always get my mates to buy me beer, that won't be a problem. I meant mainly for the night clubs. Are there any in QLD that don't card?

 

The Beat Mega Club I've heard doesn't card. Or atleast wont if you look old enough

Me and my friend are going to schoolies at the end of the year too, we're starting the trip at Byron/Nimbin where we are picking up a magnitude of mind-altering substances and then making our way up to surfers, stopping at places along the way, selling bud and such, then getting to surfers and chillin, along with some selling perhaps.

 

Gold Coast is the way to go. Too many people go to the gold coast and theres not enough police so the kids kind've take over hahah. Theres clubs specifically for schoolie people though.

Of course, I want to go to Surfers. The clubs are either all age (no alcohol) or 18+. That's my dilemma. I don't want to have to stick to beach parties and all age clubs (not that there is anything wrong with beach parties )
