I saw it on Saturday, it was probably one fo the best movies I've seen in 2008. Extremely well made, Clint Eastwood's still fucking sick haha

This movie was good. I downloaded it in early December and watched it. I must say, I am very happy that Hmong people were actually used in this movie and not the same Chinese, Japanese, or Koreans. I'm glad that Hmong people finally broke into Hollywood AND of all people, Clint Eastwood brought them there. Funny thing is, I know the one gangster dude. The one that Clint beat up. His name is Elvis (lawl) and he's from Milwaukee and in a group called RARE. Man, big ups to my HMONG peoples finally breaking out in Hollywood.

Dude, all the Asians were HMONG people who never once been in a movie so expect them not to be as good as Clint.

Agreed. This movie was awesome. I thought it was really well put together but some of the things they showed about Hmong people were all wrong aka the killing the chicken part. Sorry, we don't chop heads off like how they showed it.

One of the better one's that weren't action or comedy yes.

That was pretty cool, I didn't know that all of them actually were HMONG. Hopefully we get to see more of them in future movies.

I'm not talking about the family, etc... they didn't even have a big part; I'm talking about the gangster's and that stupid main character. GOD DAMN what a cheesy ending... >_>

I really don't like movies with Clint Eastwood, I'm not entirely sure why I saw it, but I did, and once again Clint Eastwood doesn't fail to disappoint me in his terrible movies, he's to old to be an actor and he needs to give it up.

Disagree. Simple enough. How would you of wanted it to end? Clint shoot 'em up? That would of killed the story, because that would of meant that Clint didn't change in anyway. It ended that way because he finally had some compassion for the hmong.

    Disagree. Simple enough. :p

Does anyone know where to get this file at, in a high quality? Can you post here or PM me? Thanks. :)

I watched the first 35 minutes or so and honestly I could not bare another second. The movie was basically dull for the first quarter of it, but I elected to turn off the movie. I'm not sure, due to the fact I didn't watch the entire movie, but, it was one of the more dull Clint Eastwood movies.

I agree, it got dull at some points.

I feel like an idiot, but I haven't seen most of Clint Eastwood's films (I've seen Gran Turino, Blood Work, and Dirty Harry) what are his best one's out there that I haven't seen?

It's good. Not as great as some may say but good. I'd give it a 7/10.

Yet I'm sure he appreciates the money you paid to watch his film. Too old to be an actor? He is one of Hollywood's greatest actors so why should he "give up?"

There are DVD screeners all over the internet. I downloaded mines back in mid December. Very good quality although not DVD.

It wasn't dull. It wasn't a full out action movie like Dirty Harry that's all. I think it was more about how people can accept others, change for their own good, and sacrifice for what's right.

I would say his best two are Mystic River and Unforgiven, IMO. You should check them out, Mystic River is a bit more new so you might have an easier time finding that on the internet, it's an excellent movie.

The first 35 minutes of the movie were ridiculously boring, thus leading me to turn it off. I'm sure it's a great movie, he doesn't particularly participate in poor movies, but it's just not my cup of tea :D.

As Analog said, Unforgiven. One of his best IMHO. Million Dollar Baby wasn't bad. Pink Cadillac was good. You should also watch the 2 or 3 other "Dirty Harry" movies in the series. Not sure what they are called though. Same character basically. One movie you must definitely watch is Escape From Alcatraz. Awesome movie.
