Duel Arena Shadow Bans?

Does anyone else believe in getting shadow banned at the duel arena in OSRS?
(All of these accounts are maxed 99 att str def hp.)
Basically if you don't know what it is it's when Jagex makes your account have really terrible RNG and you lose ALOT way more than expected.

For example I've been staking for years now and I have some accounts that have terrible RNG where they will literally go on 10 loss streak 1 win 7 loss streak 2 win and other accounts that will do the opposite and go on insane winstreaks like 10 wins 1 loss 10 wins.

Of course most people will probably just say It's just RNG it's all random hits random number generator and I also thought that too at first. I thought i was just getting bad luck but after staking of years and having well over 10000+ stakes probably even 25k I'm beginning to see a trend.

I can literally be talking to my friend and be like "Watch this bro I'm going to hop on this account and watch how trash it is" then say the same thing "Now watch how godly this account is"

Mod Mat K also said in one of his streams a few months ago that basically they were thinking of implementing a variable on certain accounts that they would never profit at the duel arena.

I've noticed that also when I post about this on the 2007scape reddit it just gets deleted by a Mod in the first few minutes. Also when I message the Jagex Mods on twitter about this I never get a reply even though Ash replies to most people who messages him.

I'm genuinely curious to what other people think.

The variable exists. Make sure to double on the 4x loss because that’s when you start seeing the luck swing back your way. If anyone tells you otherwise just remember you have taken 25K stakes and they prob taken what 200?

Jagex doesn't care enough to do this. Odds are always 50/50 and never point one way or another. You can get extremely lucky or unlucky.

 

"shadow banned" is a nice way to tell gambling addicts they don't have a problem. Most will blame anything other than them self for loosing the money. Its quite sad.

Just think about it from Jagex' perspective. How would it make sense for them as a business to invest resources into shadow banning people? Especially when they already tax stakes.

Anyone who is addicted to staking and/or has conspiracy theories about staking should probably take a statistics course.

 

I mean, statistically speaking, when you calculate the probability of just a 10 W/L streak with ~50/50 odds, it's ~0.05%. That being said, statistics don't always translate to personal experience. You'll still have a ~50% chance of winning your 10th duel, even if you lost the previous 9. Most people won't lose that 10th duel, but statistics dictate that it's only improbable, not impossible.

I've hit numerous losing streaks in ~5000 duels, but I'm still in the green because I don't chuck my bank and I stick to strategies designed for 50/50 games.

Roulette has some that have existed for hundreds of years, I'd suggest looking into them.

 

As you said ... you had 7loses streak with 1 win. Every1 had 10+loses streaks and also 10+ wins streaks...

All just speculation.
Some people have good RNG and some dont, sometimes you win sometime u dont.
Gambling is always surrounded in speculation, Rigging and Corruption.

 

I dont think shadow bans exist if they did there would be more proof on it like people going -30 on losses etc yet to see that

 

I didn't believe in shadow bans until I went on a 16 loss streak with maxed main.... Won one then lost 5. Went from multiple of all items to my current life as a peasant. I thought it was only me and my group of friends till oda lost 12 in a row the other day.

 

If you had won 16 stakes in a row I bet you wouldn't be complaining. Goes both ways my friend.

At the end of the day it's just RNG.

Dude, I have 90 wins 130 losses on my maxed main account. I did all tent whip stakes with perfect rules and I 100% believe I'm shadow banned. I keep going back to see if anything is changed and nope, it's always 3 losses 1 win every fucking time.

 

The staking RNG does seem pretty odd to be honest.

 

But I saw fishy’s video and it said shadowbans are real and that I should gamble on HIS website
