Mechscape

What do you think mechscape will look like ? will it ruin runescape? Mabey thats why jagex is ruining runescape because they will want players to play mechscape. What do u guys think?

 

Maybe their gona release merchscape to get people away from runescape and then release their other MMORPG in 2010 to get the rest of em o_0

 

they said mechscape is targeted for an older audience, 18+ and its supposted to come out around march so we'll just have to wait

From looking at the pictures, the characters look very awkward. I do not think I would play that game if it was released. I will always prefer RuneScape as it is much more addicting IMO. =)

 

Yeah it dosen't look like the greatest games.

 

They say Mechscape will look a bit better than Runescape HD but still be browser-based (lag fest).

As for ruining Runescape so people will play Mechscape:

1: Jagex has said that Mechscape is aimed at an older demographic than Runescape so pissing off early teenagers isn't necessarily going to get them into Mechscape.

2: Why the hell would they ruin one of their MMO's so people will play the other one? It doesn't matter which MMO people play, both will be rolling in subscriptions...

i think there making mechscape for classic players =
since i was 11 playing runescape and now im 18 ... alot of the rs players are getting annoying lol... i think thats why there making mechscape.

 

I think jagex has a well thought out master plan.

i just dont know what it is.

i think there will be a big change (sometime in next 2 years) simular to rs2 replacing rsc. im looking forward to seeing what it is.

I have seen Mechscape and I didn't like it. And I didn't like FunOrb. FunOrb and Mechscape are similar. That's my thoughts of pictures of Mechscape I have seen. And I think they were official pictures.

looks like a xbox or ps3 game, i wouldnt like it on computor there would be to much to do like s is attack :S

 

It will ruin runescape if the players like the new characters.
I personally will always play runescape due to the weapons and the old style theme
