What makes you happy?

Music and friends, but most of all success within my endeavors

Dogs, Hockey, Family - In that order.

 

Love, nature, communication with friends, beautiful music, beautiful dramatic movies, delicious food.

 

Food. This is of course a joke). Meeting with friends or relatives makes me happy. Also when I play with my dog or go for a walk with him

Nowadays, it’s just hearing good news about anything. A lot of worldwide negativity will do that.

It's a rather difficult to answer question if I am being honest. Happiness is an emotion just like the others and by their very nature are fleeting. When people proclaim they only want to be happy and that their not feeling that way in their life is where we run into problems.

Happiness being a fleeting feeling means that what people are really saying is, "I wish I was able to maintain a generally happy life/mood." It is nearly impossible for humans to be happy in each moment of their lives.

I think happiness is much more of a long-term trend sort of thing. People should be aiming to have a life which makes them overwhelmingly happy the majority of the time while accepting you'll have moments of sadness,anger,jealousy, and other emotions.

What makes me happy? Having the support and companionship from friends and family. Having quality time with my children and enough time to really form strong bonds with my children. Enjoying video games that I have played for years both Runescape and other console games from my past and present. I suppose the answer is that there are many different things which can make me happy and just as many things which could go wrong and temporarily make me blind to the things in life I should be most grateful for.

 

Hard music and playing games when my PC show the highest performance.

 

Seeing the same threads from reddit r/all reposted on sythe the next day makes me super happy

And also unexpected nudes from my S.O. That makes me feel nice and thought-of

 

Flooding my dopamine/serotonin receptors with all varying degree of potency, duration and mechanisms, beyond their normal means.

That makes me happy, even if its fake and or temporary.

 

My life overall. I love my life and everything I do. I was always passionate about cooking so that I decided to go on cooking courses once. After 7 years, I am a chef in one of the best restaurants in my city. It was my dream and I did it. By the way, are there any confectioners or housewives on this forum? I can recommend a good website that provides reviews of knives, it helped me a lot kniferr.com

 

A steady paycheck and good food.

 

Some good KFC when everyone else hates it and I'm alone in the waitting line.

 

Traveling. So while we are on quarantine and have restrictions to travel to different countries I am not as happy as want to be. Maybe I'll be a little bit happier after I'll clean the mold from walls in my garage because I become crazy when see it.
