Best way to earn money/save money?

Hi,
my friends/family would say that i have a somewhat money grabbing mind . But most of the things i try are just quick cash that happens once and never again, so i make around £40 a month lol... (I am currently 14 BTW)

My main ambition in life is to make enough money to move to America (Probs NY or California) and get a decent career in graphic design/proffessional video editing/game designing/computing in general.

I hope to move to America when i am 22 (So i can have a badass time being 21 before i have to move).

I currently have no income at all (Other than the rare payment from adsense).

I need tips on:
-Motivation, i sometimes just can't be arsed to get off my backside and do something...I need some way of getting up, this may sound stupid, but its like a disease! Once i'm in bed i just can't budge I constantly think "Just 5 more minutes..."
-What to do for a fair amount of money. I am contemplating multiple paper rounds (aka paper routes), but the amount they pay is somewhat ridiculous. £8 to deliver 700 papers (including filling with leaflets, total takes around 3 hours)
-Saving money. I like to spend, but i can never save...I need some way of saving and having something to spend.

Start a band

Put a savings account w\ a lock on it where you can't take out but can put in it for however long then w\ what money you do make put about 40% into your savings and the rest go crazy.

i caddied over the summer, good money for people our age. Get a job like that or work part time at a store when your old enough.
